I started off with a not so great consult with a different doctor, which upset me enough to leaf me to this website and to Dr. Telepun. He actually took the time to go over my medical history and talk to me about what I was hoping to get out of the procedure. Then he did a real examination of my problem area and discussed different options for what he could do, asking me what I thought about each one. The conclusion is that I will have an aggressive mini-tummy tuck with an umbilical float, lipo for the upper abdomen and flanks, and he's even going to stitch the lower and mid abdominal muscles together to make it tighter. I was extremely impressed, and happy with the price he quoted. I will be telling everyone about Dr. Telepun.

Oh, another situation where the umbilical floating applies :) I'll follow you, i've done the same! It's not easy to find girls wich doctors used this kind of procedure.

If you had a mini tummy tuck why are your scars over your hip or was that part of the agreed plan. Your stomach looks great just asking. I'm researching and live in alabama. What is umbilical float ?

Hmm, I never thought about that on the scar. I guess he just took extra skin. With adding the abdominal stitching to the procedure, I think he called it an aggressive mini. ? The umbilical float is where they detach the belly button from below the deep tissue layer and pull it down rather than cutting around from the outside and creating a new hole in the skin that's pulled down. They only do it if your belly button can be moved down without looking odd.

Oh, and this is just after my son turned 9, so my current issue had very little to do with pregnancy or birth and more to do with age and laziness. I am very excited for nutty surgery in two weeks.

Pre-op visit

It is one week until my surgery. I had my pre-op visit with Dr. Telepun yesterday afternoon to go over the procedure, get the scrip for pre- and post-care and pain management, and to take the before photos. Also went to the hospital to pre-register and get lab work done. I am very excited!
