WORTH IT
I have had big beasts since I was very hung and they always seemed to define me. This procedure is for my psyche as much as my physical appearance/health.
Despite the wound issues that I am currently having I thnk that I will be happy with this procedure once it's all said and done.

Dr Ganos is awesome!

Wow. While I admire your positive attitude, I would definitely be concerned about those wounds. They look pretty frightening and not at all normal. I hope your healing proceeds quickly.

Hi Khoj, it's me Mrita - from December...your wounds are like mine...you might need a debridement to get the bad tissue cleaned and you can go on to heal....please reach out on PM if you want to chat more...I am afraid to show my pictures, but after 3 cleanings I am starting to heal. Mine is on my left breast right next to my areola.

I went back to the PS (my PS is on vacation so I've been seri go her partner) yesterday and she put some foam tape around the outer edges of my breasts for additional support. She said to continue using the Medihoney and Silvadayne twice daily and then follow up in the office on Monday when my PS returns. She also said I will mist likely require a revision surgery once the healing has progressed.

OMG your photos that show open wounds - are they still like this?

Hey, just sent you a note - I am not doing very well to be honest. I have been in excruciating pain. I just got back from a trip to Seattle for work and I swear I just wanted to die. My wound is still the same - very clean, about 2inchesX2inches give or take extremely painful burning and stabbing. I went to see PS today - and he finally agreed to prescribe a wound VAC - though he warned me that it might be too painful for me...I am sure I will need revision but won't be until I close up, and scars soften. What exactly are they doing to you tomorrow?? tell me what is going on with you. I am to get the Vac tomorrow and I think a Home Nurse comes to put it on me...

I am so sorry I didn't see this until now. How are you? I had an appt with my PS last Monday and she said that revision would be best to minimize the scarring. She said that if she allowed the wound to close in its own it would resemble a burn and the areola would not round out. I was told I will have a small scar but it will be cleaner than if we did nothing. Did you have infection? I was fortunate to have avoided that. I also had a different procedure than most in that my incisions were only around the areola and they were not grafted back on but stayed attached throughout the procedure. I go for my follow up tomorrow at 1:00. Both breasts remain covered in foam tape do I am anxious to see how the revision turned out. I will updat after.

As you can see in my photos I had some serious opening of the incision sites. On 1/16 I had revision surgery and I have attached photos of the area after that procedure. I will have some minor scarring but overall I'm feeling really good.

I also attached a pic of the first time I got to wear a real bra. I'm very happy with the way they look 6 weeks out op.
