Hey! Congrats on your first treatment! :) Give it a time and you will feel better! We all been there. Time is healing. Just try to stay positive and think about other things! The pain will go away. And remember, after care is very important as you do not want to have any scarring.
Hi. I bet you're glad to have your first treatment out the way. :-) The pain should become more tolerable each time as the more ink, the more pain! When you start seeing the ink break up you will feel better - promise. Take care of it and keep us updated.
Pain went down a lot. Now its just swollen around tge tattoo itsself. Doesnt hurt just annoying judt cleaned it and gazed it up for the day. Still nervous and hoping im doing whats right. Hoping the swelling will go down soon too
We're always here for you if you have any worries or concerns. If you experience any symptoms I'm sure one of us has had it already!

I haven't yet got the process done yet. I am going...
I haven't yet got the process done yet. I am going on 4-28-14- to start my first session. The place that I am going to uses the Q-Switch YAG lasers. I only have black ink so the person said it will be pretty easy to remove. i just hope by December or as early as September it will be gone.
i got the tattoo on March 19th which would be 4 weeks ago. when i got it i knew it was what i wanted. i wanted my dogs print tattooed on me forever. my dog is my life and pets are my life. i am a dog groomer, trainer, and going to school for vet tech so the paw print would also go with my career.
but after i got it i hated it. that night i just curled up in a ball and cried. i had trouble eating and sleeping. I've been trying to cover it every chance i get from people. i am excited to start this process and actually have been thinking about getting rid of my wrist tattoos as well and just start over.

hi! welcome to the community. i also made a placement mistake for a tattoo that was supposed to have significant meaning to me. i had my very first laser treatment 2 weeks ago (also with a YAG laser) and hope to continue going every 6 or so weeks. and just like you, hope to get this thing removed by the end of the year (but that's wishful thinking).
good luck and please keep us posted on how your first treatment goes next week!
Hey and welcome to the community! :) Wow, we all been there. Trust me. I was stressed over my tattoo, which is my first one and done 2 months ago, but you are lucky you found this nice community and you will have plenty of support and information here!
My first advice will be to relax, take a deep breath and think that this is not going to be with you forever! It is possible to remove the tattoos and you can do it! What helped me at first time was actually doing the things I love and stuck to my everyday routine: sports, work and friends.
Stay positive and you will have those gone in no time!
Hey, I totally feel you. And we all know that feeling of regret too well. Yours look like it should be lifted pretty easily. I've got a pretty gnarly piece that will probably take a few years to get off me, so consider yourself lucky ;) just stay strong and remember that nobody is actually against you. Just do what you need to to be happy.
Hey there, thanks for sharing your journey with us!! Sorry to hear you are struggling with regret so badly (been there), but you have taken your first steps to resolve this and you will be just fine. I see first session is just around the corner, how are you feeling?
Nervous. I just realized monday was around the corner
Don't be, you will do just fine. Are you having numbing? You can also ask for ice packs during the treatment to help ease the pain.
numbing crème and they use the cool hose on the skin rather than the ice pack. its not the pain that i'm nervous about its once I start I can't go back what if it only fades type thinking, what if it scares, what if I have to live with it forever
There is fear and worry in everything we do, that is normal. Just do what feels right for you. Are you open to a cover up?
I want it completely gone... but if time goes on and I happen to just have a faded tattoo in the end I will maybe just get something over it. but cover ups always look like cover ups and I just want it off my skin to be honest.
I just started my cover up and it's going good - if you get it faded enough and the right artist it will work out. I wish you luck on full removal, being your tattoos are black, should be fine, in time they will be gone :)

Hey there, how are you making out with your removal? We would love an update.
