I got smart lipo on my upper and lower abdomen, my flanks, and bra fat. It was an ok experience, not comfortable. They removed 4000 cc's of fat. I only drained 1 day. Right now I'm sore. I uploaded my before on my day of surgery and my day 7 photos. I laid on top of one of my pillows wrong and I have a small dent on the left side, I have been trying to massage it and use Nerium's Contour Cream so hopefully that will help. I went to Pure Md in Dayton, OH to Dr. Perrine.

Can you tell me the procedure step by step ..and what mess were given to you did they make you feel drowsy sorry I'm a nervous about my procedure being done this month

They gave me Ativan an hour before to calm my nerves. It made me a lil woozy buy I was pretty chill :) after that set in I got 3 numbing shots and it was a cake walk from there

I had smart lipo on my upper & lower stomach, upper back, flanks, inner and outer thighs on 3/24. I didn't read much because I honestly didn't want to chicken out and I'm glad I didn't because the pain was definitely worse than I thought it would be. The most painful part is the the deadening process (which took 1 hour since I was treating 6 areas). After that it's not bad! I was told that the recovery process was easier but it was actually quite difficult. I was useless for 2 days and only started feeling better at 1.5 weeks. the day after surgery I looked amazing but within a few days I started having lots of hardness and some lumps. I've been having lymphatic massages which are helping to soften the hardness. Just want you to go into it with your eyes open because it's not quite as easy as the dr made it out to be. I do believe it will be worth it though!

I'm a little worried. I'm going to go see my PS this week. One side of my stomach droops and it worries me. I'm using a contour cream and massage. I've seen alot of docs on here say give it 3 months to completely heal and it will tighten. But idk guys :/

One side of my lower ab is more swollen then the other. I'm sure it's just swollen and nothing to worry about. Did you have your kids vaginally or csection? I ask if it's the later. More scare tissue could have been present thus making PS work a little harder to loosen fat like he did on me

Swelling still pretty heavy specifically lower abs. Hard still too. If this was my final results I wouldn't be happen but it's still early for both of us

My doctor told me to give it 6 months. I had Smart Lipo a month ago today and I have shrunk quite a bit but the doctor told me I have a lot more shrinking to go! You have to give your body time to heal. I still have swelling and my love handles are still pretty sore and swollen even though I already look much better than before the surgery! Take care of yourself, eat right, excercise lightly (for now) and be patient! :)
