Bra alert!!

Nancypants23
WORTH IT
You guys need this bra!! It is the only one I have found that doesn’t irritate my incisions. Actually, I feel pretty darn close to normal right now. And it won’t look all bulky under clothes. Best part, under $5!!! I’m going back tomorrow to get a few more. I’ve never been able to wear a bra like this without two more underneath lol

Is it adjustable?

Hooray! You seem to be feeling much better! I have to say that you are looking great. Also you’ve done this for you so just let the naysayers comments slide off and ignore. They can’t help it - some people thrive by being insensitive and nasty. Think about the fun you’re having wearing stuff you never could before. Chin up and tail in the air!!!

Thank you!!! I think the worst is over, thank god lol I put a tank top on yesterday that wouldn’t have fit over my boobs before. Freedom!! Lol

Aye!!!

How are you doing? Keep us posted.

I use these for sleeping and under my pjs. But l dont feel supported enough to wear them all day. I walk horses a lot and feel too much bounce with this type of bra - l find more support wearing yoga bras.

Updated pics

5 weeks tomorrow!! I forgot to take a side pic. I’m still picking apart things. They just don’t seem even to me. I know boobs aren’t twins but I’m so ocd. Every day is getting better. The biggest thing is the nipple sensitivity. Hoping that settles down soon.

I can't believe I'm just now happening upon your review for the first time! Your new breasts are looking lovely. I read through all your posts-ah, the emotional roller coaster ride of surgery!! I truly hope you are feeling better now, your results are looking great, very nice and natural. Everything you've experienced is totally normal!! It will keep getting better though, just remember you still have quite a way to go with your healing. It takes up to a year for all the nerves and internal tissues to heal, and the scar tissue to finish remodeling itself. So hopefully your nipples will calm down a bit over time. I have the opposite, mine are still rather dull feeling, but for me it's a small trade off for the numerous benefits I experience every day as a result of having the surgery. It has been truly life changing! And mine are not perfect or 100% symmetrical either, but most women's breasts aren't! We've just been brainwashed by looking at airbrushed and retouched photographs!

I have a question for anyone of yall. I returned to work today I am a nurse. I have help so im not lifting anything. but ibwalk alot and use my arms for vitals and ivs meds etc. I can feel that my left breast is swellling a bit so i took a 45 min break and massaged it for a bit. has anyone else had swelling and what do u do for it
May 25, 2018
Thank you so much for our encouragement. I really appreciate it :) I didn’t realize the emotional roller coaster this would be. I’m glad you commented. Now I can read your review :)

I take Motrin and use ice as needed. After last week, I feel like the swelling has settled down a lot since. How far out are you?
May 25, 2018
i am 2 weeks post

Trinabart5, I saw my surgeon on Tuesday and was 4 weeks & a day post-op. She said she can visually see the swelling...though to me I can’t see anything. All the doctor’s opinions seem to be hat swelling can take 6 weeks to 3 months to subside. Take it easy at work! I also went back after two weeks but started with half days (and have a desk job). I was really tired after the first couple shifts. Most important is no lifting/pulling etc, and also avoiding getting bumped into! I work at a college so there’s always lots of students walking around, usually with their heads down looking at their phone. ;) Hope you’re feeling good after work!

Looking FABULOUS! (Coming from someone who also tends to obsess over the way mine look.)

Thank you!! I’ve been stalking your review and yours look great too!!

Turning point!!

Nancypants23
I think I have hit a turning point! I started driving a few days ago. I was so sore after. But I noticed today that I haven’t taken any Motrin or Tylenol and haven’t used the ice packs. The coco butter Vaseline is helping the glue to come off too!!! At this point, I’m just obsessing over the appearance. I feel like the righty has dropped first, the nipple looks a different shape and the nipple is lower. But I’m not gonna go crazy about it, I know it takes a while to see the true shape and size. Still in a sports bra. I can’t wait to be able to exercise and wear regular bras again ! A few people close to me have told me I shouldn’t have done this. My best friend actually said that they would look more proportioned to my body if I lost weight. So that’s discouraging. Anyway, happy healing ladies!!! My inbox is always open if anyone has any questions or needs support. Xoxo

That's extremely rude of them to say. Why would someone have something negative to say about a surgery that's permanent? Don't listen to them- you look great! You have a gorgeous new pair of boobs. They're perky and you can wear any bra you want!
May 20, 2018
Thank you. I’m surrounded by toxic people :(
May 20, 2018
Yay for driving! I’m going for a drive tomorrow to see how it goes but it’s good to know I might be sore afterwards. I’m sorry that your friends haven’t been very supportive of your decision! Sounds like they don’t understand/aren’t listening to how you felt about your old boobs. Luckily we have this site to get the support we are lacking elsewhere. As for losing weight to be more proportionate, if you ARE wanting to try losing weight once everything is healed up, it should be easier to find sports bras and easier to move around/jog etc. Hope the glue is gone soon!

Your happiness comes first. I'm glad you're driving. Soreness comes and goes as until recovery is complete. Remember, If you are happy with your recovery, that is all that counts. Share with your friends your happy thoughts. When you share your concerns, toxic people will kick your when you're healing. Often it is sub-conscience, forgive them... for they do not know their green-eyed envy reared it true nature. If the behavior continues re-evaluate the friendship.

Try the Vaseline. When I get in the shower, it’s starting to just fall off. Super easy :)

Thanks ladies. I appreciate the support :) I just feel not so good about myself right now so I’m extra sensitive to the opinions.
