Cannot say enough positive remarks about Dr. van Raalte and his staff! dr. van Raalte always has take. The time to answer all my questions and is very friendly and has a great bedside manner. I was referred by a very good friend that said the same. I really appreciate the fact that he is very honest about what results to expect and lets you know exactly what you are getting into. The nurses and staff have been so great and really make you feel comfortable and excited for your procedure. Not to mention that being able to do it all in the same place is great and has a very spa like feel.

4 weeks tomorrow

Can't believe time has gone by so fast! I am more than happy with how recovery has gone and survived my first week at work. Still pain and swelling but nothing crazy. Just wanted to update quick and add a couple photos ????

Muscle Repair

I think I forgot to mention I did end up getting muscle repair so the recovery is a little harder than I had anticipated. I'm happy about I though because I felt like I needed the muscle repair so I'm glad it was done correctly if I have to get it done right?

I think the muscle repair is the hardest thing about this surgery. You don't realize how much you use your abs for EVERYTHING!!
