I Love my results! You name it I tried it crossfit, running, dietician, personal trainer, numerous diet bets.I would lose weight yes but my thighs were here TO STAY and I was STUCk inside. The swelling/brusing is slowly dissapearing and I keep being amazed at how my body looks like now. I initially was only going to get a lipo on my thighs/ knees but then considered getting my flanks as well which is the backfat that would ooze out of the back of my pants lol. Best.decision.ever. Everyone including myself thinks I got a buttlift as well only bc my butt looks perky and lifted and rounded. I guess that's what was hiding underneath all the fat. I'm shy of 3 months and I will be running my 4th Bix next weekend. I have started training after 8 weeks after surgery and I feel light as a feather and my running time has never been better unlike before I would be out of breath bc my thighs were sooo heavy. Also Dr. Van Raalte suggested I try to have a healthier diet to maintain the good results. I joined a weight loss program and have lost an additonal 5 pds. Again thank you!
Things i highly recommend :
1.make a list of questions you need answered BEFORE you meet the Dr.I had a different set of questions at each meeting
2. Compressions socks and spanx get those Before surgery. WAL MART i had to order the socks bc they don't have them in stores
3. One of those plastic toilets to put on top of your toilet..Trust me bending/squatting to use the loo was a hoot.
4. PILLOWS. To elevate feet and to help me sleep sideways.
5.Expect to feel uhmazing leaving the facility as I did but the toughest days are 2,3 you will feel it make sure to have someone with you.
6. Plan ahead with work. I had only requested 7 days off of PTO that I had available but then had to take 3 additonal unpaid days. Trust me. At LEAST 2 full weeks off if you can get 3 better and do expect someone to drive you to work for the first week.
7. You will be obnoxious/annoying to your family that will have to help you with everything including getting you into the shower. Be nice, be grateful, buy them lunch
GOOD LUCK! I hope your journey is as positive as mine has been?
