I called to schedule a consult today with a reputable ps in my area and was surprisingly told they had a cancellation for TOMORROW!!! I am so excited to go and the anticipation is killing me already lol. I have been waiting since I was 14 to have a ba, however having kids put that on hold but now I am ready! I was at one point a small b in high school but since having kids and breastfeeding (even just a few months each) I have become completely flat chested and I hate it. I am hoping to go from a 32aa to a 32 full c/d. I would love to go bigger (I think I have boobie greed lol) but I am pretty sure the ps would not allow it as I am very petite and don't have the room. I am currently 105lbs, 5ft 5in with almost no body fat. I have been looking at boobs all day, just dreaming about going tomorrow to try on some for myself. I am really hoping to have the surgery in the next few weeks as my husband and I are finally taking our honeymoon in April :))

Have any of you ladies gone from my size to a d? Also what types of implants did you get and how do you like the results? I have looked at saline and silicone and just can't decide :(

My advice for you would be to hold off on buying the sports bras and regular bras. You can't wear anything that pushes your boobs up during your recovery time which could be up to 3 months possibly longer. Your boobs need to drop so you can't wear anything that will interfere in that process. The sports bras you bought will push them up and you won't know your exact size for awhile. Sizers don't give you the exact. You will have a lot of swelling in the first week and bloating. Your best option is the surgical bra you will wake up in until your PS tells you otherwise. I am 2.5 weeks post op my right Breast still needs to drop and I am still wearing an ace bandage sash style over it with my post op vest. I bought a 2 pack of sports bras took them to my appointment and my PS said no way you can't have anything that pushes them so I returned them. I have $11,000 into my surgery and do not want my end result less than perfect because I didn't follow my PS's orders. Believe me I am antsy about wanting to shop but waiting until my PS gives me the ok will be worth it. I'd hate to mess things thinking I know better. I see so many women buying bras just out of post op and its not a good idea. Listen to the advice of you PS show him what you bought and ask if they'll be right if not return them until you can get what is. Trying to help:)

I appreciate you commenting! What I bought is actually not a sports bra, just a thin support bra almost like a training bra. I wasn't planning on wearing it until after my post-op and I got the approval from my ps. He definitely warned me that sports bras a a huge no-no but that support bras that don't push everything in are okay. Thanks for your advice!! What type of implants did you get?

Silicone gel high profile due to being petite on top. 650cc right and 600cc on left. Feels more natural and less chance of rippling the saline can cause:). One last thing instead of the Gatorade and sports drinks for hydration that all PS's seem to recommend including mine who was happy to be educated about coconut water being much better than any sports drink, natural and better for you:)

I'm in Hawaii and it's the top hydration drink for us distance paddlers:)

I went from a small B to a DD but they look more like a C or D. I went with the tear drop anatomical cohesive gel. I had saline before and they just looked so fake and rippled horribly. I had them re done last June and love them. I also had two friends, my cousin, and sister that all had the same type and we all went to the same DR in the area! Love him and his staff! Your in my area you should check him out. I can even get you a free consultation.

1st Consult

anonymous2413
Yesterday I went for my first consult and I'm not entirely happy with the results or potential results I should say. I know I am very petite but what the doctor suggested doesn't seem to be very big at all. While I realize the doctor must work with each patient individually based on their measurements I feel like what he suggested was very small. I am currently a 32aa and want to be at least a full 32c if not d but I'm not sure that's achievable now. Maybe I am just having boobie greed I'm not sure. I tried talking to my husband last night about it and all he could say was that they still look small and saggy (doctor suggested 320cc's in a mod+ profile, teardrop shaped gummy bear implant so they can look as natural on me as possible). My husband then went on to tell me how he knows so and so who got their boobs done elsewhere and they were "the most amazing boobs he's ever seen". While he may have been trying to be helpful nothing of what he told me helped, he doesn't know the doctors name just that he's located an hour and a half from where we live. Already being self-conscious the last thing I wanted was that reaction from him so now I'm having second thoughts. I was already planning on talking to another doctor to get a second opinion but I also don't want to keep going to doctor after doctor getting consults that all give me the same suggestion.
Sorry for the rant.. I'm a little emotional about the whole thing lol.
I've attached some photos -don't mind the blurry 3D before and after it's hard to take a picture of the computer lol. I would like opinions from others who maybe have had second thoughts about size and how they worked through it. Did you go with what the doctor suggested or tell him you wanted bigger? Did you get a second consult with a different doctor to check options? Did you go with what the doctor suggested feeling they were small and were actually happy with the end result? Any help is appreciated.

I am from the area too and have a consult with a PS in two weeks. What kind of price diff did they say between standard and gummy bear?
January 29, 2015
Standard silicone or saline? He didn't quote me on saline as he said round is not a possibility for my small frame. I was quoted $5600 for a middle ground between normal silicone and gummy bear. Who are you going to see?
January 29, 2015
Dr bayne. I am leaning towards gummy from the research I have done but will know more soon. How was recovery?
January 29, 2015
Never mind that part, I was thinking you had it done already
January 29, 2015
No worries. I loved the gummy bear ones and feel that with the texture they will not rotate. Keep me posted on how yours goes! :)

Hi I'm getting 365cc which should bring me to a D cup. I'm a deflated saggy A at moment. I think 320 looks very good on you.. Your so tiny anything too big would look fake. P.s husbands really should not be allowed talk!!
January 29, 2015
I agree. I've been looking at my pictures all day and I feel comfortable with the size. I don't want big pornstar looking boobs, I want them to be natural and make people question if they're real or not lol which I feel I will achieve with this side. I'm going back for a second consult Monday to ask more questions so hopefully that relieves some of my anxiety. Ps. My husband and I have talked sense and I explained a little more to him and he's being much more understanding
January 29, 2015
That's good about your husband! I'm also getting teardrop shape as I'm the same as you I don't want it to be obvious I got a boobjob! Keep them guessing. Hope ur second consult goes good. Keep us updated :)

Also I am a 31 rib cage measurement and wore a 32B 49 years 5'6 125 I got silicone gel implants through the armpit dual plane with a Benelli lift 650cc on the right and 600cc on the left and I love them. Will be posting before and after pics soon after my sutures come out Tuesday. Yay:)

Girls I've had saline and the "gummies" and trust me you want the gummies. They are natural and last a lot longer. They feel more real and so much less rippling. I sent two good friends, my cousin and sister to my dr in the area and we have all had wonderful results. I can get you a free consultation too. He is brutally honest which I LOVED!!! You don't want a dr to tell you what you want to hear, you want a dr who will tell you what you need to hear. Trust me I've been there done that!! Always be realistic :)

Surgery Scheduled!! Only 13 days to wait

anonymous2413
I went yesterday with my husband for a second consult with the doctor. He was able to answer a few more questions for me and I feel much more comfortable than I did initially. I was kind of disappointed with the size he choice (320cc's) but he reassured me that they will be very proportional to my body and that he doesn't want to go bigger as my skin is too tight and will show the implant. I agree that I would rather be smaller than to have the implant visible and I can always go bigger in a few years once my skin has had time to stretch. My husband was pleased with the size once he saw them in person, pictures can be a bit different lol. Now to wait for surgery.. I have my pre-op on the 9th and surgery first thing in the morning on the 16th. I am beyond excited yet feel guilty for spending so much on myself. I have always put every one else's needs before mine so to do something for myself is odd and the pricetag scares me. But my husband has made me feel as good about it as possible, reassuring me that it is okay and that he fully supports me. Oh and we're going to Jamaica in April (a late honeymoon) and I'm so excited to have my surgery and be recovered in time to look good in a bikini.. Hope mine still fits after but is finally filled out lol.

How do you ladies deal with the anticipation.. I'm so anxious now that everything is scheduled and paid for. What do you ladies recommend to get beforehand? What did you do that made recovery easier?

Who are you going with for surgery?
February 3, 2015
Dr. Benjamin Van Raalte. Have you chosen a surgeon yet?
February 3, 2015
Consult with Bayne next week. Who did you see for 1st consult? What made you pick one over other? What were the price diff? I have had several friends use bayne with great success. They got you in fast!
February 3, 2015
I actually only ever talked with Van Raalte due to being on a tight schedule of getting surgery done in time for my honeymoon. But I do know others who went to him and are very pleased. He's board certified and has 25 years experience. Sorry I don't have any info regarding different doctors but my total for surgery, all pre/post-op appointments and an iv anesthesia it cost me $5395. Keep me posted on how your appointment goes!

I was your size with my first BA. I got 400cc saline and found out later inshould.have went smaller because it caused a deformity called.double bubble but wasn't noticeable until I flexed my chest and it became really noticeable after having my first child so I had a touch up done. But I really needed a whOle redo and dr said wait til I was done having kids. Just got done having kids and had my revision 3 weeks ago. Got 625cc mod plus gummy bears. I was able to go bigger because I had implants already plus I had two kids. Implants are a lifetime thing and nevER just a one time thing. So next time down the road you can go bigger :). Some times going bigger isn't the best the first time around.
