Great Doctor but see update review :(

So I think Dr A is very nice to speak with and has a great upbeat bedside manner. She has done great botox for me and my nasolabial folds came out great but I’m actually very unhappy with my under eyes. Since posting my initial review, there’s a bump that refuses to go down. I’ve been to see her to fix it twice for free, which is nice, but it’s still not fixed. I’m getting upset as this is my face and it’s not going away. Hopefully third time will be a charm...

The first time I had this done, I was thrilled! The next two times, I got those bumps as well. Had them “fixed” too. Two years later.... still there.... but smaller.

I’m so sorry to hear. I went to another doc to have my filler properly dissolved and it’s gone now

Glad that another Dr. was able to help you! I have one side under my eye that “pooled” a bag similar to yours. I had it dissolved a bit, but it’s still there after 2 years! I think some people’s bodies just process filler differently or their doc injected incorrectly. Glad you’re all better! I won’t do tear trough filler again.

I had Dr. Kontis do my eyes with filler and the same thing happened and its taken almost 3 years to finally go away. It made me look like I had bags under my eyes. Never again.

Me too, I had filler put in when I was 45 and after that people asked me if I was tired. The filler created bumps and these then created shadows. I have not gotten anything done since and my eyes at 57 are worse. I don't know what the solution is.

I am thinking of trying a thermi smooth or red light treatment to tighten up my under eyes. I’m in the same boat as you- 2 years after fillers.

At least it's not permanent like surgery. Can't you just go to someone to dissolve it completely?

Wondering if cheek filler would have been better to support the under eye versus tear trough filler?

Dr Anita is the best! She did a better job on my tear trough filler for less $$ than the “Plump” clinic in Chelsea I went to last time. She’s also skillful at using botox on the lower part of your face which some docs don’t like to do. Highly recommend seeing Dr Anita
