After 3 kids and my highest weight being 250 with my last pregnancy I had a very low hanging belly consisting of skin and fat. I wanted to get healthy and fit before I turn 40 in a couple of years. It's been 3 months since my TT and I am still amazed at how exciting it is to see my pretty flat belly again after all these years. I am 5'7' and now weigh about 170. Trying on clothes is fun again and my sex life with my husband is better than ever!

Just wondering how your belly button is looking now? I saw you posted a question about it being really swollen. I am 3 weeks post op and mine looks just like that. Has the swelling gone down? Is the opening much smaller now?

I am 3 months post op and Yes, it is so much better now. It is normal size but deeper then the one I had before. My scar is still red so there is a circle around it that still distorts the overall look but it is still 100% better than it was.

The scars around my belly button and stomach are still really red but it is still way to early to know if this will be an issue or not. I continue to lotion and massage everyday and I am pretty much back to my regular day-to-day activities and workout routine. I am, however, very mindful of ab work because I see photos on here of people even farther along in their recovery having reoccurring swelling and problems from overdoing it.

You're looking great! A friend of mine works for a PS & said that scar redness usually looks it worse at the 3 month mark, then it starts to improve.

Feeling pretty much the same as 3 months post op. Still taking ab work slow till at least 6 months to avoid complications and swelling. My scar including around my belly button is still quite red but still massaging daily. I have had deep internal itching around scar line and it can be maddening but find an ice pack helps when it gets too distracting. I do have two small hard bumps in the middle of my hip to hip scar but the PS said it was scar tissue and could eventually be removed if I wanted. They cannot but seen and only I notice them so at this point they are not a concern. Still 100% happy with the results and would do it all over again even knowing how painful and long the recovery has been.

You look great! Any tips on how you saved/came up with the cash to finally do it? I need a TT, Arm Lift and Breast Reduction Lift/Reconstruction. I really want to get this done before I turn 37. Trying to find ways to make more money.. any tips are welcome!

Thank you for you comment! I was lucky to have a husband who supported my decision and was on board with saving up our cash for the surgery. It took tax return money and a couple of years but worth it. I would set a firm goal amount by getting a consultation and just start saving.

Hi! I had to take two loans out for my procedures from credit unions. I'm not regreting it at all even though they have to be paid back. I try to pay extra money a month to avoid the interest rate. It was well worth it.

That's nice that you had financial support from your husband. My husband wasn't on board with the surgery but after I had it done, he did help me after the surgery as far as cleaning, cooking, getting me things for me etc.... so I was thankful for that.

I was determined to have this done before I turned 40 and would have taken out a loan if need be. For me it was more than just cosmetic because it affected my self esteem. Now, even though I am not thin I feel "normal" again and good about myself even in a size 12/14!

What was your pre-surgery weight? BTW: you look amazing!

Thank you! I am 5'7" and at the time of the surgery I weighed approximately 178lbs. It was still about 15lbs away from my goal weight of 165lbs. Since the surgery I have been down to 170lbs and have no issues with loose skin or anything that would indicate missing my goal weight before the surgery was an issue.
