Unfair Treatment

The results are awesome and Dr. Bachelor is magnificent. I'm mostly disappointed in his staff for not being fair to me. I scheduled an eye lift and left a deposit of $1000. I scheduled my appoint in Nov 2014 for my eye surgery in Jan 2015. So I made vacation arrangements with my job. The staff from the doctor cancels my appointment and asks to reschedule. So I'm not able to get a schedule time until June 2015 cause all vacation choices have been taken at my job. When I call to explain that June is my only time, I tell them that I'd like a refund of my $1000 until I can schedule family vacation & work schedule, cause it may now be end of June or July. So the staff tells me fine and days later I see my refund. Which is $965. So I call Dr. Bachelor's office to inform them that I didn't get my full refund of $1000. The staff indicates to me that since I cancelled there is a cancellation fee of $35. I explained that I didn't cancel my initial appointment that the doctor did so why should I be penalized $35 when he cancelled on me. I made arrangements 2 months in advance, his schedule was clear when I made my appointment and in January 2015 three weeks before my surgery he cancels. This is unprofessional and extremely unfair and I haven't returned since. The doctors office as done no follow up on previous procedures nor any other out reach. I would love to go back, but what they did was unfair and was viewed to me as being money hungry. I am looking for another doctor and its been a year and a half for me so I hope to find one soon.

It was nice speaking to you last week and I look forward to seeing you again soon. As we discussed there was no cancellation fee. This was a fee charged by card company. We will make this right for you Dr B
