WORTH IT
After considerable research, I decided I wanted Dr Bansal to perform my Laser Lipo surgery; he and Elite MD have an excellent reputation and have not let me down!
My first appointment was a (free) consultation, Dr Bansal answered all my concerns and questions almost before I voiced them, he is very thorough and takes time to educate you about the particular treatment you're about to have. My procedure was to be Laser Lipo of upper and lower abdomen, with flanks and sub-axila (the fat that can be annoying just under the arms).
Dr Bansal makes it clear that for all the work he does, you must also do your share. I found this inspiring and was eager to do whatever it would take to get the best result possible. I am now 6 months post op and have lost 15 lbs and gone from size 12-14 trousers to size 8 in skinny jeans : ). I look and feel better, I have more energy and can wear clothes that are more flattering than the baggy things I used to wear to cover up.
Following Dr Bansal's advice I continue to eat well and sensibly so I don't overload my system with toxins, I do not feel I go without anything at all. I've learned to listen to my body, recognizing when I feel full after eating and stepping up my exercise once I was able. There is a period of time when you really have time during recovery when it's advisable to take things easy and not get your heart rate up; this just makes the body swell after surgery and you take longer to recover.
My thanks extends to the whole Elite MD Team! Candy, Sheri and Vanessa have always offered advice and support....I have recommended Dr Bansal to one of my best friends and will continue to look to him and Elite MD for future treatments!
