Botox for TMJ, Jaw Clenching, Teeth Grinding...and Also Frown Lines! - Danvers, MA

ORIGINAL POST

WORTH IT$1,200
Several years ago my mother mentioned to her plastic surgeon (Anna Petropoulos, MD) that he daughter (ME!) had a problem with teeth grinding and TMJ. Through this conversation we learned that Botox could be used to treat this condition and Dr Petropoulos began treating me at that time. I was (and still am) thrilled. It has been such a relief to get relief from the headaches and neck pain and also save my teeth. I was going through expensive custom-made mouth guards and now do not even have to use a mouth guard. I recently moved to Minneapolis and tried to find a doctor to treat me but ended up flying back to Boston (Danvers, MA) because my phone calls to Minneapolis practices indicated a marked lack of expertise. It was well worth the cost of an airline ticket to receive a Botox treatment from Dr Petropoulos who is nationally recognized for her amazing non-surgical expertise. I have also begun getting Botox between my brows for frown lines that were just starting to become noticeable. I highly recommend Dr Petropoulos both for her expertise with Botox and also for her kindness and gentleness. My Botox treatments don't even hurt! I also really appreciate Dr Petropoulos's staff who helped me coordinate everything from Minneapolis and also provided a complimentary skincare consultation and got me started on a new skincare routine that is really working.

That's great, thank you for your post! Where do you receive your injections - in scalp, neck and jaw? How many do you receive?

All the injections are in the masseter muscle. I get 15 - 20 units on each side. She usually splits it up between 3-4 injection sites (each side).
