I can't wait for my TT procedure next. My procedure is scheduled on Dec 14, 2015. I will be traveling from VA to Dalton, GA. I plan to stay in the area for a 1 week following the procedure. I'm excited and anxious but look forward to the new me! I plan to get a thigh lift once I cross this hurdle.

I decided to get the surgery done in GA because the PS was referred and is near the doctor that performed my lap band surgery. I was told to select a doctor that specializes in working with patients we have lost a great deal of weight as this requires additional skill. Despite the extra cost - hotel expense, I think its a good idea as I heard the lap band typically gets tight after this type of procedure. Being near both drs will allow me to address any unforeseen problems. Hopefully, this will be a none issue. :-)

I forgot to mention that I have lost a total of 150lbs over the past 10 years and am now at my goal weight. The weight loss journey has been long and slow, which was primarily due to my work travel and inability to stick to a healthy lifestyle. I'm now at my goal weight of 158lbs and look forward to the new me. Luckly, I do have a lot of excess skin on my tummy; however, the thighs are another issue! Lol! The Dr. suggests getting the TT first as this might tighten the upper inner thigh a bit and I might not want the thigh procedure. Based on what I can see, I will be going in for a round 2!

Dr Williams did my TT last year after weight loss. He is wonderful and I'm very happy with my stomach. Like you I also need the thighs. I was told the same thing but unfortunately I could not tell a difference in my thighs after the TT so I am going back for my tigh lift in Dec or Jan.

I am doing a 10 day smoothie challenge to help ease my body into surgery. I am hoping to avoid or lessen the symptoms of constipation and bloating due to toxins in my body before surgery. Also, i want the added benefit of dropping a few lbs before hand.

My husband took my pics and measurements today. I'm excited to see the results of my smooth challenge and then off to surgery!
