Dr. Sherrill has been amazing to work with, he and his loving staff took very good care of me. I would recommend anyone that is considering PS to see Dr. Sherrill, I promise you will not be disappointed.
From the moment I walked in the door, the entire staff made us feel so comfortable, all of our questions were answered before we could even think to ask them. As a side note, many of his staff members have been with him for 10-20+ years, that speaks volumes for his practice.
Day of surgery, every detail was explained and I never felt nervous because I was so well taken care of. That night Dr. Sherrill called to check on me, the day after as well. I feel like he truly does care for his patients. Also, my results have been amazing so far!

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

I was very comfy the day of surgery, possibly thanks to the versed! The morning after was a doozy, but the demerol and valium kept me comfortable, as long as I stayed one step ahead of the pain. I think that is the key!

I wanted the tummy tuck because after two babies and c sections, my stomach was just not the same. No matter how much exercise I do, the flabby stomach is still there. It is also frustrating that complete strangers would approach me to ask when my baby was due, so rude!!!! My response was usually, he's four, thanks for asking!
I am looking forward to wearing clothing that doesn't have to hide my rotund abdomen, it will be so nice to just choose clothing I like rather than clothing that conceals!
The decision to have abdominoplasty was not taken lightly, I did consider pros and cons, such as not being able to care for my family while I am healing. However, I did decide to have the surgery to regain confidence and feel better about myself. Hope this helps!

I have been feeling great, the only pain I am experiencing is from my back, thanks to the hunched over old lady walking. I am taking valium 5mg, only once today and Lortab 5mg once also. I am using the binder Dr. Sherrill provided and a waist trainer I purchased from amazon, it has made life much easier, it keeps my incisions from being irritated.

Still no BM since surgery, despite taking the docusate twice daily.

I am still sleeping in my recliner as well, but sitting in my glider rocker during the day, hoping the rocking will stimulate peristaltis and help me with the gas!
