Almost 7 months post surgery
Hard to believe it's been this long since my surgery! I saw Dr White on Monday and he told me I have no restrictions AND I am free of the mandatory compression!! Was really getting tired of wearing a garment and a corset.
I did find a great corset from Squeem that I will wear occasionally. I like it because it works well for a long torso (me). I have become so accustomed to having garment/corset, etc., that I feel vulnerable without!
I am down 15 lbs or so since surgery, but weight loss was not my goal. I do find my weight can fluctuate 5 lbs a day, up or down. I am back in the gym briskly walking on treadmill 3-4 times per week.
I still have some soreness from the muscle repair...I notice it when I lie down or turn over in bed. Nothing bad. My scar is looking better daily; still a little red. Dr is very happy with it's progress. I continue to use Bio Corneum on it daily .
My next appointment is in November. I'm very happy I had this done, and don't feel like I'm 62.
It has (and continues to be) a long journey!

I had PS follow up a few weeks ago, and he was very pleased at my progress. I had lost weight and went down one size in both my garment and my corset! I am putting BioCorneum on my scar 2x a day. I recently had bronchitis and the coughing was a little painful on my muscle repair. I'm so happy with my flat tummy! I tried on a bathing suit bottom today, and can't wait for summer!
10 weeks update
Loving my flat tummy! Still having swelling off and on. Looking forward to seeing Dr White and staff next week. My CG is more loose, probably get a new one
