I have had several procedures done over the last few years and just enjoy the maintenance. I am 41, 5”2 and about 155lbs. My weight is a combination of things and my husband and I seem to like to ratio. I could use a few less pounds but I don’t work out, have a mixed diet and am really happy with my lifestyle and how I look despite all the stigmas. I posted these pictures because I felt compelled to share my personal experience. My last lipo procedure was about 3 years ago in my abdomen and love handles where I am scarred and had quite a bit of damage to my abdomen area. I researched Thermage and thought that it would be a great alternative to another surgery. As you can tell from the before pictures (taken approximately 6 months ag) my midsection was rough, dimpled and was a little loose. Since I was being told that there is not really enough fat to do lipo and the cost was more than I was willing to spend I chose Thermage. My experience was a little different from the reviews. I was given a small dose of sedatives to help with any discomfort and to help me relax. I was explained everything in detail and wanted to focus on my abdomen and help to smoothen out my flank area. While the nurse and I chatted, I began to relax and she got to work. Early on I felt the heat and I was explained that the flank area or any area close to the muscle bone might be a little rough. I’m covered in tattoos, have had 2 kids and have had several surgeries so in addition to the medication, I personally enjoyed my experience. Although quite inebriated I was allowed to rest a few and go to a full-length mirror to view the immediate results. I was pretty out of it but have enjoyed the results so far. The most recent pictures are exactly 1 week out.
I’d love to go run a few miles and all but can’t guarantee that’s going to happen. I have personally chose to wear a compression garment every day since my procedure although I understand it is not needed. I feel it is continuing to smooth me out and keep things tight. Despite the great results I don’t think I would use the procedure anywhere near my face but I am really liking how I look and the areas I chose to focus on. As for the tip, I have no idea. I try to use the best doctors and my personal judgement – have prayed and had great success with all but one of many procedures. I will also be posting a review about my now 3 month post-op on a Mastopexy recently done. 8/2/2017
