I've had clogged pores and blackheads since age 12...

I've had clogged pores and blackheads since age 12 and they continue to get worse. My nose is covered in tiny brown dots, the pores on my cheeks next to my nose are like gaping holes and even my chin and temples have become infested. It seems like the more I try, the worse it gets and I've found so little available in terms of treatment for this. I've always looked young but the last couple of years this is making me age rapidly and my usual habit of wearing little makeup has become a routine of layering in order to mask the problem, which also doesn't work. Found a Groupon for this treatment (usually $1,500), read great reviews, haven't seen anyone who said this was good for large pores and blackheads but it seems logical to me. Fingers crossed!!

I'd prepared myself for a lot more pain during and after the procedure, having read other posts but was relieved at how little it hurt. The whole experience was great. Brandon at the front desk answered my pre-appointment questions and Shirley, my laser tech, was very accommodating. She numbed my face and advised that this was "not an easy process" but assured me that the results would be worth it. She worked much more quickly than I expected (about 30 minutes under laser) but stopped anytime I flinched and asked if I was ok. It hurt, but only in short bursts and completely bearable. Post procedure feels like a bad sunburn and fades in a couple of hours. Following that I've had zero pain.
