Looking to get back to my Post Army weight, feeling better, and looking better. My main goal is to feel better. I'm really more focus on that issue. Currently dealing with high BP, aggravated bone spur, sleep apnea, and typical fatigue for someone overweight. My goal is to reach 245lbs, currently 340, but Dr. believes in can achieve 225lbs. I think a good medium would be 235lbs. In all whatever it takes to feel better and have a better life. I'm prepared for the severe life change, which at this point a severe life change has to take place with or without surgery.

I have never heard of Denton Texas. Good luck to you. My best suggestion to you is that since your surgery is in March hang out on this blog as much as you can. You will learn a lot from others and it is a great support source. I am sure that you will loose all the weight. Good luck and be blessed.

Thanks, joined awhile but finally spoke with a surgeon and got the ball rolling. Denton is north of Dallas, East of Ft. Worth

Doing 6mo diet per insurance requirements, so estimating March or April. Hopefully March or earlier

I hope so too. It's hard to wait. This may be the answer to you living your life more fully so I wish the insurance didn't make you wait.

Hey Hurricane88...how about an update. We are about the same size and age and I'm scheduled for next month. Wondering how it's working out for you.

Oh I misread, I thought you had it March this year.

Unfortunately I'm still in my 6mo approval wait. My insurance requires a 6mo controlled diet with my surgeon, so likely not to have surgery until March or April. I wish you the best and will monitor your success.
