At this point i am 9 days post op worth it. I was tired of being fat couldn't run and play with my kids without having to sit down. Not being able to go into a store and find something that would fit to wear. Quality of life wasnt where i wanted it. I have no regrets about this procedure. Its not the easy way out by no means. I will update as i progress so stay posted ill also add pics.

Insurance Approval

So i keep reading about all these preapproval guidelines about 3 months counciling and diet 3 months monitored by pcp and everything and i think how lucky i must hve been to not have to do ay of that. The longest waiy was for 2 or 3 months and that was to get in to meet with the dr for our first meeting after that it submitted to the insurance company within 7 days and i was approved my first appt with the dr was April 23 once approved by insurance may 29tg was my pre op June 12 th was my surgery. That month flew by as everyone knows u have to have blood work, ultrasound, camera down throat look at tummy, ekg etc the list goes on then u have to fast a week or two before surgery so it went by fast for me. I wish everyones was as easy as mine. I have United Health Care as my insurance bc i know that is the next question as well as my bmi was 40 with no ther issues such as high blood pressure or diabetes.
