After botched bleph

As requested by a couple of people...here are a few post botched photos. Sorry...all are cropped and these are the only photos I have. I deleted most photos immediately once I saw how aged and horrible I looked. The very few I kept I cropped because it was just too depressing and painful to be reminded of what I had paid a doctor to do to my face. I avoided cameras and mirrors like the plague for over a year. It's hard to see all of the details and full extend of the damage but it was awful and aged me terribly and destroyed my eyes. I didn't even want to post them because it is painful to look at them and have to relive that year that robbed me of my happiness, sanity and life in general! I'd just like to erase it from my memory altogether...but I also want to help people through my review so I thought I should be as thorough as posdible so here ya go...hope this helps a little...

What's crazy is that I had no problem at all posting and showing off my post revision Joker face which is scary as hell but these...on the other hand, we're extremely difficult for me. I guess because I knew the joker face was simply a mask that would eventually come off...unlike the one before which made me feel more like the Phantom of the Opera or something out of a Tim Burton movie! :(

I am so happy for you!! You do look pretty damn perfect. And I can see what a mess the previous surgeon made despite the bad quality of cropped photos. I was the same... I deleted most of my photos or cropped them after my botched surgery because I felt so ugly!!

It is so nice to see a success story ... He must be a very skilled surgeon. Eyes are such a delicate and intricate area. He must have amazing technique. Well done You for not suffering in silence.

Hope you got refunded from the previous surgeon.

Crypt Keeper, I'm considering bleph surgery and am researching surgeons in the Dallas area. Dr. R just moved to the top of my list, but I also want to be sure to steer clear of the original surgeon. Would you mind PMing me the name? Thanks so much!

You look amazing! Like you, I've had some complications. I have a rare mycobacterium chelonae infection in my left eye incision. I had my surgery on August 4, 2015. I now need to wait another 2 and a half months after being on 2 antibiotics for a total of 6 months before I can have any revisional surgery.

Hey! It's been a year since your procedure. How are you doing today? It'd be great to hear from you again!

Hey there! I'm doing absolutely wonderful! I actually had a minor fat touch up around Christmas and that was easy peasy and I healed super quickly! I probably could have done without it and been just fine because my eyes were so much better but I just felt they could use a bit more. Dr. Rohrich had already told me I would probably need a second round. If I had to guess I'd say I probably retained about 50% of the fat initially. At about 2 or 3 months it was damn near perfect but I gradually absorbed a bit more over the next few months. I think it stabilized around the 6 month mark and I never saw much of a change from that point on.

How are you doing many years later? I had a very similar thing happen to me. I'm 9 weeks post op and have sunken in upper eyelids.

The changes over the past two weeks have been subtle. My eyes are still slightly puffy but only slightly. I'm still extremely happy! And even though I look slightly different than the old me I am totally fine with that unlike that Crypt Keeper face I had to live with for over a year! This is definitely a face I am learning to love! :)

You should change your user name as it does not reflect how you look:;)

Awww....thank you and thank God and most importantly thank Dr. Rorich! I suppose I should but that was definitely how I felt I looked before my revision and now I just keep it up as a reminder and as a comparison to the new ones since all my old ones are cropped. ;)

you look great! thank you for sharing this. I had the same experience as you and regret my decision of getting bleph done. My doctor left me with totally asymmetric eyes with one eyelid crease way higher than the other and also one eye shape totally changed than the other and wouldn't even admit his mistake.

Thank you for sharing your story. You really look great now! I am very happy for you.
It is very nice to read your experience on your way to success... Thank you for not suffering in silence but struggled for success. Your doctor must be a brilliant successful surgeon and must have amazing ability. The area of the eyes is very delicate.
(I had a similar experience (only upper eyelids) I can cover with make-up. I need a revisional eyelid surgery. )
I wish you live happily ever after :)
