I have a tattoo on my left tattoo that I don't want anymore so I decided to get it removed using the picosure tattoo removal process. I thought it would be an easy healing process however it's become not at all what I expected. The doctor sAys the blisters are normal. I'm just hoping I see major results! Will update at least once a week for progress until all treatments are complete

I had major blistering after my first session, but persevere, it gets better and a lot less painful each time you go

I think the area that I'm considering having a tattoo removed is close to exactly your skin tone. Ill definitely be following your journey. I have a consultation next Thursday (March 26th). Mine is a quarter sleeve with mostly purple and green with black outlines. I'm just trying to get it lightened enough for a black and gray cover-up. I look forward to your updates!!!!

Let me just say it's been an experience. With the blisters and it resembling and sometimes feeling like a burn I was thinking, 'that's it I'm not going back!' However based on the results of the first one I think I have to! And just get it over with with the removal. It's still healing and not completely all healed however you'll notice that it faded the tattoo ALOT. Especially the red. it's now pink and the black on the lettering is significantly faded.

Doesn't look like the color is fading and my arm looks as if it's going to scar from the treatment. I'm questioning if it's worth it and should I just pay a visit to the tattoo shop to see if they can get it back to how it was. Regretting that I did it

What all did you do for aftercare. Hopefully that hyper and hypopigmentation resolves itself or you could get hydroquinone cream that may help.

I use what was recommended by the doctor called aquaphor. It's basically a vitamin a and d lubricant that is also used when getting the tattoo. I don't know. I would kinda wait for this new tattoo removal creme that's coming out that's said by many well known tattoo artist to change the industry of tattoo. I heard about and thought? " Ya right" then I read about it and was quite intrigued. I just don't believe picosure is worth it

The pigment will come back. Laser setting was prob too high. My first picosure treatment was like that (I had 11 q-switched previously). I had a few huge blisters and was swollen for 1 week and then bad scabbing for a week after that. When the scabs came off I had hypopigmentation just like yours. They color came back 5-6 weeks after treatment. I just had my second treatment in Friday after over 8 weeks since the first one. This one was much better! Hang in there, don't give up. The picosure laser is amazing, first treatment on it is nasty though.
