I woke up feeling good today, but I had a complete meltdown yesterday. I had tried to start out in my bed the night before. sleplt there about 4 hours then transferred to the recliner. Then where my breasts haven't hurt at all, they started to. I know I overdid it on Friday, because we put our house on the market and had to be out with showings. The only good thing is that it sold on Friday, so no more of that. Back today though, it's the 1st morning I didn't wake up with pain. I'm hoping I'm turning a corner that I read about with so many others. Emotionally though I feel like I'm losing it. I was doing so good about that but looking at my TT scar and my breasts have me worried. I feel like my breasts look square and my TT scar is so uneven. I want to be optimistic and I know my Hubs is tired of me being negative. Just needing some encouragement I suppose.

I think you look really good!!!! Just keep wearing the binder and your bra. Your swelling looks good. I think you are going to be really happy with your results. I can't believe we went to the same dr! Do you Know anyone else who has gone to him? I Agree with you on e TT pain over the breast lift and implant pain. I'm still sore! This is a way longer recovery than I thought. I would still do it all over again! I can't wait to see your updated pics! Hope you are feeling better. These ups and downs are normal. :) just rest as much as you can.

Thanks Txmomof1. No I don't know if anyone personally that went to him. I just did my own research which I suppose is why I'm so upset about my results at the moment. I'm super happy how I look in clothes, but naked is another story. I'm going to order the silicone sheets in the morning and I have my 2 week PO on Friday. I only saw Lisa last week so I do want to talk to the dr about my concerns. I know the emotions are all part of this but I guess I didn't feel like it would be like this. Thanks for the sweet comment!

Your underwear and bathing suits cover the scar right? I think in 6 mo to a year they should (hopefully) be thin white scars. That's what I'm hoping for! Ha! I see that your scar is a little bit un even. I hope he can fix that. But, if yhe scar will heal and its under your clothes i think it will be just fine. It looks super low. He said at our pre op meeting that 80% of his surgeries are breasts. I really do think your breasts look amazing and full and you have awesome cleavage! I'm curious what hey say when you go back. So, did he keep your existing belly button and cut around it or did he give you a new one? He kept mine. I have a friend that went to another dr and he gave her a new one.

And you also spent ALOT of money. You want to be happy with your results. Just FYI, I'm 2 months and still have swelling. I wear my spanx 24/7. Each week I look less swollen and tighter. You are still early on. :)

Thought I'd update you. Went today. Dr Hackney was baffled at my scar. He was like I know I drew a straight line! Then he realized I have a hematoma that is off centering everything. So, now I am going to have a sonogram on Mon morning and if he's right then ill have surgery next week to remove it. Ugh!!
July 13, 2013
I've been thinking about you! Thanks for updating me! That is CRAZY!! I was surprised about the scar. From what I've heard about him from lisa and the nurses at the surgery center, he is a huge perfectionist. What do they do to fix a hematoma? Is it painful? More swollen? Did you post pics? If you think about it, let me know when you post pics. I changed my setting so I only get alerts if someone responds to me or writes on my page! Good luck! I'll pray for you!

I had also heard he was a perfectionist so when my tummy tuck scar looked so uneven I just thought, "Great, I'm his first mistake!" Anyway, if you look at that picture of my TT scar you can see it even then at just 5 days. When looking at my picture on the right side directly above the scar you can see swelling. So therefore, it's pushing my skin and scar down. He tried to aspirate it today in his office with a huge gauge needle. My husband who is a ff/paramedic actually got woozy watching and he sees stuff like that all the time. When no liquid came out he said I would need to have it removed and probably put drains in too. It's all just really bad timing. My mother is in her last days of life and it's just a lot right now. In fact I was having so much pain on Thur I thought because I over did it. We finalized plans at the funeral home and I thought I was going to die! Anyway, I hope it all gets straightened out! Literally! Dr Hackney gave me a hug today and said not to worry that he would fix everything! He also said he would take care of seeing the radiologist and whatever else needs to be done. My husband and I both were very impressed how he handled everything today. Thank you for the prayers!
July 13, 2013
I can not imagine what you are going through. Just the TT alone is painful. You should be in bed recovering. I'm sorry you are going through all of this at such a bad time. Extra prayers coming your way! I'm glad dr hackney is taking care of everything. How bad did that needle hurt? Sounds horrible. Does that side hurt way more than the other? Boo on the drains! :(
July 16, 2013
How are you doing? Wanted to check in on you.
July 24, 2013
Are you doing ok???? I know you had so much going on! I hope you are doing well. Still praying.

Thanks for checking on me. My mom died Friday. We had the funeral Monday, so things have just been rough. I had the surgery last Wednesday and feel 100% better. I have a drain but it hasn't been that bad. Dr Hackney's on vacation so ill get it out next week. My husband and I moved our vacation anyway because of my mother's impending death. It's been a rough couple of weeks.
