6.5 weeks out... update!

So, I'm 6.5 weeks out. Last week, my PS told me I could stop wearing my spanx... after 6 weeks there's no verifiable evidence that the garment does anything. So, I stopped the torture.
We went away for the weekend, and I went whitewater rafting. I only paddled a little as I was scared. It was fun, and I feel like I'm getting back to myself.
What I didn't like was that my steri-strips came off in some areas. I really felt nervous about getting sun on the scars or the scars opening! I was covered but still.. the sun penetrates! I didn't get any sun, really, as it turns out.
We didn't take many pics, but here's one pretty crappy selfie. I was wearing my bikini.
It's funny, I was hyper aware of women who had a mm.

Scar Treatment, Compression Garment, & Exercise

I spoke with my doctor today. He's awesome. We spoke about top topics as I am just about 4 weeks out.
Scar Treatment
I am NOT to use mederma. It is meant to soften scars... but at this point, they are the weakest point... and mederma will soften them and promote the scars widening. No mederma for 6 months.
I can use steri-strips on my tummy tuck and horizontal scars under my breasts. Replace strips as they peel off. I should use silicone gel sheeting (rectangular) to cover vertical scars and areola. I am to do this for 2 months.
Compression Garment
I started using spanx at 3 weeks. I am to use the garment for 2 more weeks. I can burn my binder if I'd like. I am to wear to CG for 8-10 hours.
I am to wear a soft cup or sports bra during the day. I don't have to wear one at night. He reminded me that gravity is still working on my body. Good reminder.
Exercise
At 4 weeks, I can walk on the treadmill. Nothing strenuous.
At 6 weeks, I can use the elliptical and start jogging (I am not bouncing my babies!!).
At 8 weeks, no restrictions.
Contouring
There's a good chance I'll go and get my back lipo'ed. I don't line how he had to contour my sides and near my bra line. We had a long talk and it makes perfect sense. When I see him in 2 months, we'll discuss more in depth. I don't want to be the lady who gets addicted to plastic surgery! I just want the back to mirror the front!

Three Weeks Today! And I had wine!

Three weeks! Seems like it's taken forever but has also flown by!

I went on a date with DH last night. I decided to wear my compression garment. Do not, I repeat, do not try to put your CG on at night. Holy crap. I literally felt like I couldn't breathe.

I drank 2 glasses of wine after 4 weeks of abstention. I swore I'd only drink diet gin and tonic.. but I'll have to take my own diet tonic (Weird, I know... but i don't drink soda and I don't want the carbs). The wine was great!

I slept in my binder and it felt shoo comfortable (odd given I'd ripped it off I frustration a few days ago).

My PS wants me to wear spanx for 10 hours a day for 3 weeks. I got assets by spanx.... goes down to mid thigh and over my shoulders. Breasts are not covered but I wear a soft haynes bra. I put it on immediately after showing and had no problem. I think I'm literally 4 inches smaller this morning.

Here are a few pre-shower pics.
