Fraxel Destroyed my Face - Dallas, TX

I had Fraxel Repair done in June 2010 for what I now see as minor acne scarring. Everything looked good for 6 months, and then my skin started to nosedive. I went back to my doctor who simply recommended Retin-A. Years have passed, and it has gotten to the point where I haven't left my house except to buy groceries. I have been unemployed for two years because of massive depression. I am left with red scarred skin. There is no elasticity left. The fat is just gone. When I bow my head, the skin hangs. My acne scarring is still there, but now I have holes, lines. I can see two pronged marks from the laser all over my face. I have orange peel skin everywhere. There is a line of demarcation around my jaw where the laser hit me. I have had people ask me if I was in a car accident or fire. Put simply, my face looks like a mask of extreme sun damage.
For those considering this procedure, please don't. For those who are suffering similar damages, please respond and let me know how you are doing? What you have done? I feel like I should seek legal representation. Has anyone done this? I am finally going to see a plastic surgeon to see if there is anything that can be done. Facelift. Fat grafting. I am 44 yrs old, and i look like a burnt raisin. There has to be hope for us.
