Looks really good. !! Only upper blepharoplasty and brow lift but NO Bruising. Not one spec.
QUESTIONS: EYE feel gritty slightly swollen and my vision slightly blurry. ( Work is computer work so I must NOT make mistakes)
Can I diagnose this myself as chemosis? Not wearing contacts any more.
I use the contact lens fluid which is soothing. .but stings a bit.
should I take antihistamines?
Back to ice packs?
Thanks for answers. My Doc expects me to know everything already.

I had chemosis for 5 weeks in one eye. Hopefully yours will go soon
Warm packs at this point would be better
June 21, 2015
Well how do you know you really have it? Do people just decide they have it or did your Doc diagnose.?
yes using warm packs. Thanks so much for the info! I love knowing what is going on instead of wondering. So I guess yours gradually went away. .the blurred vision. .I only notice at work trying to read tiny print on computer

My PS warned me about it ( it's due to swelling) and because I dont live in the USA he gave me a prescription for steroids which I tried not to fill and but after 5 weeks I had to. To be honest I'm sure it would have gone away by itself. I was just paranoid ....and I don't work and could listen to audio books and still function. Try to relax and rest your eyes as best you can. I'm sure it will go away but if you are worried call Surgeon and get prescription

Still no bruising. Am I just lucky? Tomorrow back to work. My eyes might get tired doing hrs of computer work. Plus people will think I am weird. .or vain. Well I worry too much

You'll do fine, just need to give it time. You are very lucky that you had so little bruising. It takes at least three months before you will get your first glimpse of the outcome. Be patient.

I had puckering. It went on its own. :) also,my eyes would get really tired and sore when watching TV even, took a while to get over that. Plus I got (still do, a bit) dry eyes on waking, although my eyes definitely shut properly. I used aqueous eye drops whenever sore or gritty feeling. Sounds like you're doing really well. x
