I cannot say enough praise for Dr Jay Burns. He made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions, fears and concerns. I never felt rushed in my appointments. He spent as much time with me as I needed. I had very bad hooded eyelids that needed a blepharoplasty as well as a brow lift. I was very nervous of the brow lift. But dr burns explained it all so well to me as to why I woujd benefit from it. He never tried to "sell me" on any procedure, just explained his opinion and let me decide on my own. He is very down to earth and easy to talk to. His artistic eye and ability is outstanding. Recovery was a breeze. Don't let it scare you. I was back to work in three weeks. Most people can go back at 2 weeks. I just bruise terribly and work in front of the public and I needed more time for the bruising to disappear. Six months after I healed my eyebrows relaxed a little which Dr Burns agreed I needed a redo of the brow lift and to be a little more aggressive with my degree of lift. He is an artist. He always said he is conservative and works for a natural look. Not an overdone and " worked on" look. My eyelid skin just needed more tightening as I was so bad to begin with. He redid the brow lift at no cost. I only had to pay for the OR and anesthesia. He wants his patients happy as he has stated that his patients are his advertising of his work. I will eventually go back to Dr Burns for my future lower face lift in a couple of years. I know I am in good hands with him. Also I loved all his nurses and patient coordinator. They are super helpful with all my questions. Especially Tara his nurse. Love her!! You will love your outcome with Dr Burns! Wonderful christian man!
You look good. Are your 9 months post pics from the first or second surgery? How much did you have to pay for or and anesthesia? Are you still in pain? Sorry for all the questions. I want him to do mine but read bad reviews, lol
I can't imagine any bad reviews about him. He is so good! Yes the 9 month pics are from second surgery. The second surgery was done only because he is very conservative and does not want his patients walking around with an over done look. But mine was a very bad case so it was his decision to do it again. I only had to pay for Anastasia in the operating room costs. He is very honest and kind. I still love the way my eyes look! I get compliments all the time. And I know just doing the blepharoplasty would not have been enough without the eye brow lift. What exactly are the bad things that you have heard about him? Because I had nothing but a wonderful experience.
Gosh I didn't answer all of your questions I'm so sorry. No I am not in pain at all. Just a small amount of tightness in my four head and that is all. But I know that goes away with time as it did after my first surgery. The cost for anesthesia and the operating room was $1200
Yes, I must say he did a great job. I can't really remember what was all said but if you click up top and put his name and click reviews you will see a lot of good and bad. I had eyelid surgery in 2013 and didn't last. I need a brow lift and eyelid surgery again. Thank you for responding as I am on Texas as well. I'm going to do more research first lol
Dr Burns is so so so talented. Do not hesitate. Just do it! I even talked to Katie as a reference before my procedure in March '15. Best decision I've made in a long time!! Go.
Did he do endoscopic or open browlift? You look fantastic by the way! I or we would love to see what your eyes look like now if you dot mind. These reviews help us all out alot
Thanks for trying to post photos! There is a maximum size on the site and if the pics don't fall into that range they won't post. Are you posting from an iPhone 6? Please send me a personal message if you continue to have issues. I'd love to see your results!
I had a "hairline brow lift". The incision is made right along the outer part of the hairline. So it does not change the height of your forehead or hairline.
