I'm scheduled for BR at the end of June. I'm totally psyched for relief of back, neck and shoulder pain and terrified of the post op pain. I'm 44, 5'4", 38H. I've read many testimonials and I've seen YouTube series updates from 3 women throughout their first year postoperative BR. But I still have some questions:

- Am I going to be able to wash or dry my hair? It's prob 4" past my shoulders. Maybe I should make appts w/ my stylist for shampoo/blow dry every 2-3 days? What did you do with your hair? I usually keep it pulled back.

- when can I reasonably expect to drive again?

- How about hold my phone up to read or type? Or use a laptop keyboard?

- Did you follow a special diet or vitamins/supplements preop and postop for scarring? My PS recommends a specific heavy Vitamin regimen 2 weeks prior and 1 month after.

- what was your pain like 1wk, 2wks, 1mo, 2mo? We live on a ranch and my husband travels 2 to 5 days of nearly every week of the month for business. He'll be working from home with me for the first 2 weeks but will have to start traveling again and I'm trying to get an estimated Guage for whether I should plan to hire some extra helpers OR when I may be able to do certain tasks like:
* muck the horse barn (lift the handle of a scooped rake carrying small amounts of manure for 5-10 feet)?
* bend or squat to fill water buckets (no lifting) or pick up something from the floor?
* reach/straighten arms in front of me waist high to gather up soiled and spread out clean puppy pads? (it's how we keep the roost of our chicken coup clean)
* reach above my head to use the microwave or take dishes out of cabinets?
* wash dishes by hand?

Any info you can offer would be most appreciated.

I met a girl a few years ago who went to Dr. Rohrich and liked him enough that she went back to him for 3 procedures total.
