Same bra size

WORTH IT$8,300
I went to Victoria's Secret yesterday to get new bras and was honestly disappointed to know that I am the exact same size as before surgery. 32 DD ( in VS size).
Yes, my boobs look much better in them now than before but I kind of wish I would have gone bigger. :(

Everyone wishes they would've gone bigger no matter what size they get . I'm thinking the same thing ! It's annoying but very normal .

Hi there, the important thing (imo) is that your boobs look better (as you say) and that you're pleased with the appearance. Not to mention bra "size" it's not really an accurate means of measuring the breasts; it's basically taking one line (i.e. band measurement) and subtracting it from another line (i.e. bust measurement). It doesn't take into account volume (what's in between those lines) or shape. Someone can have implants up to their shoulder blades and have the same "bra size" as somebody with implants half the size, but the person with the larger implant really does have larger breasts in terms of volume. The only way to accurately measure actual breasts size is by millimeter via water displacement. This is why PS tell you that they can't guarantee a particular bra size with a specific amount of cc. So we really shouldn't get hung up on "bra size", imho. It's the overall look and appearance that counts. FYI, I downsized by 185cc and I still fit into many of the same old bras. LOL. My 2 cents. :-)

I think you look fabulous! How many cc's did you go with? I haven't been sized yet, my PS wants 2 months in a sports bra. I'm excited to find out my size.

Thank you! I got 295cc and 330cc.

Curious did your bra size change since your last update? I've read from several other girls their bra size went round 4 month mark.

Post op

Elsasan7
Hi ladies, I had my one month post op today and my PS said I am healing incredibly well so I am free to do anything. No more restrictions. Yay! He said I no longer need to wear a sports bra if I don't want to. I can exercise and take any supplements I was taking before. That's a relief.
He asked if I had any questions or concerns, the only ting I could think of was my right breast with the bigger implant is still a tad bit higher than the other. Of course the bigger implant will heal different than the smaller one.

It seems like it's been longer than 3 weeks. They already feel like they have been a part of me. I do however notice that they feel swollen in the morning. I'm also sleeping on my side occasionally without discomfort. I hope everyone is feeling and healing well ladies.

I am booked in for my BA/BL in November. Your diary here has really helped me. Thank you for posting.

Very exciting. You will have your ups and downs. I almost backed out of mine two weeks before, I am very glad I didn't. It was one of the best investments to make on myself.

Hi, glad to see you are healing so nicely! The swelling in the morning it's quite common, especially with "unders". There's actually a name for this; it's called "morning boob". The pectoral muscles firm up after being still for a period of time. Additionally fluids that normally go down towards the feet when we're up redistribute while laying down; similar to getting puffy eyes in the morning only it's with our breasts. With time and healing "morning boob" usually resolves itself. FYI if you put the word "morning boob" you'll find numerous questions about this in the Doctors Q & A. I hope you continue to heal well. :-)

Hi Hun!!! You are so lucky to feel like your breasts are a part of you already. It took me awhile to feel that way. You look great. Yes,,,the feeling you have in the morning is referred to as "morning boob". It goes away once you move around a little bit. I know its weird feeling. It will pass. Take care,,,and Happy Healing. This is a great journey! :)
