I started having by breasts after having my first kid. I have also fluctuated from my weight. I'm finally at my weight goal, but my breasts are in much need of a lift. I've been wanting to get this procedure done for a good five years and I'm finally decided to do it. I'm ready to be comfortable in my own skin and be okay with my husband seeing me naked instead of hiding all the time

Having lots of thoughts about whether this is a good idea or not.
Also, here is a before picture. I hate the size of my areolas more than anything. And the asymmetry

I think we all have those thoughts about whether we should do it or not in part because it is elective surgery and we are afraid something may happen based on our choice. For me, I wish I had done it sooner because I'm realizing at 59 yrs old I may have only 15 yrs to enjoy my perky breasts but then again, I don't think I would have been able to afford it at a younger age. I want to be able to look in the mirror and not be ashamed about what I'm seeing.

Karen, thank you. You don't realize how much better your reply makes me feel.

I'm glad I could help! Please keep me updated on how you are doing! My surgery isn't until August 11th but tomorrow I have my pre-op appointment and make my final payment. Can't wait to have nipples that point forward, smaller areolas, fuller upper pole and also not have to worry about anyone seeing my in my pajamas with my boobs hanging to my knees! LOL

Had my surgery on Friday, the first two days where bad. But today I woke up feeling better, except still very sleepy. So far I am happy with the look. Hopefully I can take after photos soon.

Day of treatment

Today was the day. I am home now with more pain than I expected

I am very nervous last night. Worried about the anesthesia more than anything. I had my last meal around 6, even though it was not a heavy meal I ended up with heartburn and felt really bloated.
I got to the surgery center at 6 just like I was told to, they had me get completely naked and gave me a robe and compression socks. Took a pregnancy test and checked my vitals, they told me my blood pressure was a little low but that is not unusual for me.
Doctor came in to draw on me and while standing up and began to feel nauseated. I quickly had to it down.
Anesthesiologist came me started IV, i immediately passed out, seconds later when I awoke there was quite a few people in the room. I was told I wouldn't be able to walk to the surgery room so they had to wheel me in. Next thing I know I awoke with LOTS of pain. So they gave me pain meds on IV. I was in recovery room for about an hour before wheeling me out to my husbands vehicle. Ride home was painful. I was going in and out of sleep (with puke bag in hand). Thankfully I did not vomit. I took a two hour nap and I've been in bed since. Forcing myself to walk twice for at least 100 steps but I really want to go back to sleep.

Congrats on your surgery! If you don't mind sharing I'm curious to know what size implants you got. Also what type of lift did your PS give you? I also had a similar surgery 11 months ago with a full anchor lift. Happy healing!

Thank you. I don't mind at all. This site has helped me so I am pleased to do the same. It's my second day post op and I have not had the courage to look at my new botines. As far as I know I got a lollipop lift. I ended up worth 295cc and 330cc. Silicone implants muscle. How re tours after almost a year?

Do you think that you felt nauseated because of nerves? I'm sorry to hear you were in so much pain and I hope it dissipates for you in the next day or so. Just keep up on your pain medication because whether you think you need it or not because it's easier staying ahead of the pain. When I had shoulder surgery last year I started my pain medication before I got home and then took it every 3 hrs for the first 2 days then every 4 hrs the 3rd day. After that I switched over to Alieve because I started having weird dreams on the Percocet. Don't worry about sleeping too much, it takes a few days for the anesthesia to wear off and the pain meds will make you feel sleepy too.

I overheard the anesthesiologist that I was nervous and that's possibly why I fainted before getting the anesthesia. I've been taking my meds but I honestly forget which ones I have took and what time is my next dose.
