4 days post-op 545cc cohesive gel, UHP, under the muscle

Day 4.
I have some light muscle spasms. I still get tired prettt easily but have improved range of motion. Im still keeping activity very light. Sleeping better. Had a bit more tightness this morning than yesterday but so far so good. I only took my surgical bra off briefly to compare in the swimsuit then back on it went. I actually wear a light weight, baggy, soft cotton tank top under my surgical bra. It seems to help keep my incision area from being irritated and it helps with softening the feel of the the bra on my skin

Back discomfort gone

I posted a question earlier about back discomfort I was having while seated in a reclined position. It has subsided. It always felt more muscular than anything. I would of course ask my PS regarding Any issue or situation I experience but at the time it was late and the discomfort level was not one that warranted a phone call at that time so I figured I'd try out the "question page" to get some other insights :) It was definitely a high level of discomfort but not one that presented red flags or presented any other troubling symptoms.

Ultimately, I made adjustments with the circumference tightness of my surgical bra, the duration of me being seated and I had my husband do a quick massage of the aggrivated area and my symptoms subsided. I think my muscles were just tense. I've been keeping my water intake up and sticking with the same pain med schedule. Still not doing muscle relaxers, though. Im sitting and sleeping on firmer surfaces with more support, keeping a more neutral spine and just making sure I mix in brief periods of light walking around the house to stretch out. All seems good :) I know its early and a lot of changes are happening. I do personal training and sports conditioning for a living so I always like to look at posture and form when it comes to physical discomforts. Luckily, my back seemed to respond positively with some simple adjustments :)

Surgery was Thursday, Soreness easing up, Dont be afraid to choose a "larger" size implant

I do feel better today than yesterday. I have stayed more on a strict schedule with my pain medication. I think that's been the key. I do have a little numbness on my right side boob. I'll see what happens as time goes on. The amount of overall fluid retention for me is crazy. I definitely am still sore but i have more range of motion with my arms (not much though). And, basically I get pretty tired if I'm up and moving around too often. When they say don't over do it, i agree. Rest as much as you can so you can heal quicker and more efficiently. Keep drinking lots of fluids and I still think eating smaller, cleaner meals will help you to feel better. I've been wearing a loose, soft tank top underneath my surgical bra bc the seam was bothering my incision sites. It seems to be helping with comfort. I don't feel bad, but I definitely have physical limitations and am looking forward to each new day getting closer to a full recovery!

I actually was able to get some sleep last night and today. It's more like little cat naps here and there but I'll take it. It's hard not to judge the symmetry right now but ultimately I'm not really going to know for some time. I'm still happy with how things are progressing. For those who may be worried about going "too big"... I went with 545cc gel implants. When I was talking to my girlfriends about this, most of them basically told me that was "huge". The first Doc I went to consult with wanted to do a 425cc implants. My point is, do your research on pics and make sure you are "comparing" similar body types but definitely similar starting boob size. I know it's subjective, but the 545ccs that most people told me were too big, look like they are going to fit my frame just fine, and even with them being swollen right now, are smaller than what i was expecting. I'm not saying I am disappointed they appear smaller because I feel like they will be what I was going for. My point is, don't get caught up with the number of cc's. Look at pics of people with similar body frames and starting boob size, do the 3d imaging if possible, try the sizers, and most importantly, choose a Great doctor with experience!

So far so good. All my pre-op experiences have been A+; this includes everything from the facility, staff, professionalism and comfort level I feel choosing Dr. Burns. I'll update as soon as I finish my BA. I'm also getting cheek fillers which is reflected in the price I posted. :)
