Best Decision, No Regrets!!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Kahn and her staff.  My goal for this endeavor was simply to fill out what I already had which had deflated from younger weight gain and then loss along with being in my late 30’s now.  I didn’t want my co-workers or acquaintances to be able to easily tell I had a BA, but I did want to be able to tell in how I filled out clothes to how I looked in a bikini. Not to mention; I wanted to look good in that area in my birthday suit again! I was terrified of ending up too large, many friends went in thinking they would come out one size and the PS ended up going bigger because it “could fit”.  I also did not want to be “down for a long time”.  I am a business professional and my career and active lifestyle were important factors in my decision making.  I read about Dr. Tebbetts 24 hour recovery surgery and from there I found Dr. Khan who had in fact learned from him.
From the first call in to Hannah and her wonderful demeanor at the front desk I had the feeling I was going to end up with them. I met with Dr. Khan in July and the appointment was very specific.  I did not need a lift, she did my measurements and she looked into 2 different sizes.  Upon further consultation around the width vs size gained she decided upon the smaller of the 2. I should mention the difference was only 15cc and although it is a small difference I am glad she stuck to her decision and did not allow me to change them!
Overview:  The first 24 hours went as expected and I was hanging out with friends and back to work the following week and I did not miss a beat.  Sleeping was a little challenging as I could only lie on my back and was a little uncomfortable but not painful.  I tried walking a couple weeks in and I could immediately feel the pressure build up so I decided to table that until I got closer to my 6 week mark.  The biggest adjustment was the nipple sensitivity the first 4 weeks.  I bought nipple covers and some penetrex to use on the nipple area only and it opened up a whole new world, which was about week 2.5, wish I had done it sooner!  Pushing myself up using my arms was a challenge and one that I didn’t think of! I had to get creative on getting out of bed and out of lower chairs etc.  The pain was never unbearable, the biggest “issue” for me was my body adjusting overall to the change, my temperature as my body healed, sleeping and muscle movements as they repaired themselves. As week 5 approached I began walking keeping my heart rate at a minimum and by week 6 when I was cleared I was working out again and lifting.  The first few times were a big adjustment with learning what feels weird versus not hurting, it was just adjusting to a new normal.
At 8 weeks I am 99%!  I am sure there is more settling to come but with the exception on my right side needing to drop a bit more into the pocket I look and feel GREAT!  I am able to wear bras now which oddly I missed; being a business professional I feel like a bra is a necessity!  It is nice to just wear a bra without push up!
Hope this review helps someone make the choice!  If I had to do it all over again I would do EXACTLY what I did.  I am so pleased with the process, all of the medical professionals at Khan Plastic Surgery and the outcome!

18 days post op

I have been very happy so far. Day 1 I went home. Slept, showered did my arm movements and hung out at home. The following day I hung out with friends! I have been able to go to work, dinners with friends etc since then. My friends who most all have had implants have been shocked at my ability to operate so close to normal! Even their husbands are shocked!

About 7 days in the nipple sensitivity was off the charts. Luckily I got smart and started wearing dimr nipple covers, what a huge relief. They are the essential item very girl having a BA needs! So much so I think it should be a pre op item like your soap options and sweats to surgery!

At 14 days I tried a walk around the neighborhood at a slow pace but the girls got swollen and tight so I am holding off another week to try again. I also had to take off my own steri strips which was easier than I thought! One side looks really good, the other is probably more like what one should expect to see. Not bad just not as smooth as the other.

As of today, The swelling is subsiding very slowly. I am pretty up and down all day plus a 2 hour commute 5 days a week. Still with That, along with my "tight pecs" (the nurse warned me) I can't complain about much.

The only thing I would like is to be able to sleep even more comfortably and not feel so weird when things push on my boobs! I am a back sleeper. Laying back is awkward and I can't reach behind my head to adjust my hair when I do lay down. I feel like I have to get the girls in proper place and lay my arms specifically. Once I fall asleep I am not woken from any of it so at least it's short lived.

I feel like the weeks tick off on cue my improvement levels, so I am hoping before I know
It the "little things" go away. For example, the fact that my boobs are still sensitive and swollen. The fact that the implants haven't fallen into place so there are still awkward movements. The not my own feeling!

I can already say I am happy with the results already and I expect to be very happy once the proper time passes! The hardest part is the 6 weeks of waiting for the clearance to resume working out, swimming etc.

Will try to update at 1 mo as well. Hopefully this helps someone! Especially if you're on the fence with Dr. Khan and her 24 hour recovery!

37 yo 120lb 360cc mod plus 24 hour recovery. Dallas, TX

I couldn't update or add to my first review. So here it goes. BA this morning at roughly 930am. I have been home. Napped and showered and ate and done my stretches all on schedule! I have some tightness and l am a wee bit uncomfortable on my sides, particularly my right rib area. A small bruise near the incision on my right breast.  Other than that since it's a work night for the hubs we won't be going out to dinner but I have been up and about and could easily not only go, but enjoy myself!  They are high and tight but look great already. Cotton camisoles appear they will be my best piece of attire for the next 6 weeks. I am glad it is getting cooler-ish in TX now!  Will update more later!
