Dr. Pollock's staff are top notch, and everyone was extremely helpful and caring. On the day of the procedure the nurses made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I slept through the entire surgery and was discharged 30 minutes afterward. Dr. Pollock called me the next day to see how I was feeling, and answered my questions about showering/ removing my dressings/ etc. I was feeling anxious about taking my dressings off on my own so he made me an appointment in the morning, and personally removed them for me. It was very reassuring to have him tell me everything was healing exactly the way it should. My breasts were very asymmetrical before, so I had a lift on one side, and 325cc silicone implants under the muscle on both sides. 9 days post op, I couldn't be happier. The shape and size is exactly what I wanted. Also you can BARELY see the incisions. Once they heal they are going to be practically invisible. My recovery has been great, I have experienced minimal pain and was able to stop taking pain medication by my 3rd day post op. My next appointment is in 3 months, but I know they will look amazing! I love them already.

Thank you so much for reviewing your doctor!  Can you say what kind of lift you got on the one side?  Was it a full anchor or something less invasive?  And where was your incision placed on the non-lift side?  This kind of procedure is less common in the BA community, so it'd be very useful to see pictures, if you ever feel comfortable posting :).

BTW, do you know what your pre-op bra size and what your post-op size is?  Or were you never able to fit properly into a bra before (I was not, so I didn't even know what my pre-op bra-size was!)

Thanks again!

I will add pictures tonight, if they will be helpful. I did have to have a full anchor on the side with the lift, and implant was placed with an incision under the breast. My pre op size was a 34 B, but it did not fit well at all. I have not been officially measured pot op yet, I'm waiting another week or 2 for any residual swelling to subside.

Oh thank you so much!!  Pictures allow people to compare their own case to yours, and see the type of results that are possible given the starting conditions.  Also, a lot of people only look at reviews with pictures, so your information is much more likely to be seen by others if you include a picture.  Thank you so much for your willingness to share!!

I hope you'll continue to update us throughout your healing process!

Thanks!  Yeah, once the implants drop, it's gonna be a major difference--no more sagging!  And you basically won't even have a scar on your left breast.  I'm so happy for you.  Congratulations!!

Also, please continue to update on your progress!  I guess that goes without saying, but I've very excited to see how you heal. :)

How are you feeling now?

Amazing! I am in zero pain and have resumed vigorous cardio exercise (that doesn't include bouncing, of course), and some lower body weight lifting. Other then some nipple sensitivity I'm feeling pretty much normal. Thank you for asking!
