Okay, after saving up and saving up I finally was able to get bellafill for these horrible acne scars that make me miserable. I have never been so excited in my life. Lots of research, reading stories, and saving money! Well, I have to say that after over 2k dollars, there is not one scar that "went away". I know nothing really goes away. BUT most scars were really shallow and did completely vanish when stretched (which is what doctors said is the effect the filler would have) But nope! Not a one! Now I will say that in places he put for volume loss it made a beautiful difference. But not for my scarring. I'm told I need a second round for optimal results....but if I can't see minimal results after 1 round, why would go thru all that saving again? I keep thinking that maybe he went too deep with the injections and not superficial enough to "fill" the scars. But he was really an amazing doctor so I really don't know what to say. I'm heart broken and broke. And I'm definitely envious of the people on here who are so happy thier acne scars are smoother with the product. I wish that was me. :( My doctor was amazing though, just wish the product was with my scars.

Okay, so I have to say after dissecting my face today, there are 2 scars that really erked me before and I noticed my eye was not drawn to them like before. Why is that? Ahhh ha! Slight improvement is upon me! They are indeed less pronounced!!!! I was warned that improvement grows with time....so cheers to impatience! My fingers are crossed that this will be a dominoe effect for the other scars. If it is, then I definitely will be saving up for round 2. Any improvement at all was worth the money! I might try skin pen before opting for round 2. It's more affordable and might just be what I need after full effect of round 1 kicks in. The scars are rather shallow and I'm not looking for perfection, just my confidence!

Just wanted to comment that since Bellafill is essentially a permanent filler, you really want to build up over time. You don't want to completely fill the scar up because you have to account for the body encapsulating the filler with scar tissue / collagen, which also creates more volume. This way, you avoid over-correction and ending up with lumps and bumps. Good luck.

I had a very bad experience with Dermalive. Bellafill works in the same way. Avoid an other session with it.

Just curious how the results are now that it has been a couple of months? I have a physician friend who is going to be offering this and I get to be his guinea pig in January. I am a little nervous because of the 'permanent' aspect but have really bad chicken pox scars that I want gone!
