Rhinoplasty One Year and a Half Later
I had rhinoplasty performed about a year and a half ago. Before, I was unhappy with my large tip and wide nostrils. I discussed this with my surgeon and he said he could make my tip smaller, nostrils more narrow, and my bridge higher. He also recommended a chin implant to balance my side profile.
After surgery I became very insecure of the noticeable differences, because I wanted subtle changes. I eventually grew into my new look a couple of months later and I was overall happy with the results.
I did come back for a revision one year later which was free of charge. I didn't want to revise my tip because I was afraid it would look drastically different again, but now I kind of wish I would have because my tip looks bigger again. I had my nostrils narrowed, but now they are also wider again. My bridge isn't as high anymore.
I know that it would have inevitably change due to swelling, especially for the first few months, and the one year after. But it's made me insecure how my nose keeps changing shape. I feel like it looks like my old nose, but a little bit smaller now.
I want to know what you guys think.
The side by side photos are the before and after (one or two months after surgery). The last three ones are the most recent photos (one year and a half later).
