21, Had a Wonderful Experience!! 4 Weeks Post Op

My experience with Rohrich was amazing!! I am someone that is a very careful person and worries over everything so the thought of having Rhinoplasty truly terrified me even though it's something I knew I desperately wanted and needed. I have been looking into this for years and have done so much research on many doctors and had consults with other doctors as well . Finally when I came across Dr. Rohrich let's just say his credentials, years of experience and before/after photos really impressed me, before even scheduling a consultation I felt like I had found the one! When my mom and I finally met with him he was SUPER professional and informative of what he would do but yet he also seemed to have a gentle and understanding side when I told him how scared I was of having surgery and also the fear of having my nose come out botched (I overthink and come up with the worst possibilities lol) I even came back to talk with him a second time when I started getting nervous about surgery and every time he was able to calm my worries and nerves, that allowed me to push my stress aside and trust him. The day of surgery everything went really smooth! I brought my mom and my aunt with me that day. Before surgery Dr. Rohrich came in to talk to us and also we went back over everything he was going to do and that I wanted done to my nose as he made some notes. After was really the biggest positive to choosing him as my doctor because before surgery he prayed with me and my family before I was taken back and that made my heart so happy and meant alot to me! Also the anesthesiologist was truly AMAZING!! He came in to talk with us and was the sweetest and most kind! He was able to relax my nerves and make me feel confident surgery would go great! After surgery healing was a breeze and I was in no pain, the worst part was that it just felt like a very bad cold with a stuffy nose. I was so happy to find out I was able to breath through my nose right after surgery because of the splints that were in there, I'm not sure if this happens for everyone. Just make sure you clean your nose constantly and make sure they don't get blocked. The cleaner the inside of your nose is the better everything else will go and it makes taking the splints out easier and less painful. I am 4 weeks post opp right now and although I know there is still swelling I already LOVE my nose and it is extremely better than the way my nose looked before. I use to have a bump on the bridge of my nose, hooked nostrils, bulbous tip that would hang down if I smiled or talked. Now it's all fixed and my side profile looks amazing! I am so blessed and glad that I did not let my fear stop me from going through with this. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. You can't go wrong with choosing him as your doctor. Another thing I love about him is he is also very involved in updating his social media and I was able to follow him on Instagram and watch procedures he is doing! It may sound silly but it made me feel very connected!:)
