Microblading, Day 2
UPDATED FROM chelsychelsyy
2 days post
Day 3
$650
i thought i'd include a copy of my aftercare instructions in case anyone is curious. i'm not supposed to touch them AT ALL til day 4 so that's why some actual hairs are looking a bit wild today. also, i went outside for the photo - natural light really is softer and i think they look less harsh.

so i made an appointment 6 months in advance with someone widely considered to be one of the best in the business, i've been looking forward to it for half a year y'all. when i first walked out of the studio i was actually pretty happy with them but did think they were a bit too bushy for me. i guess i didn't properly prepare myself for the healing process, cause i woke up this morning and i think i look like a drag queen. i sobbed for 2 hours today. i know it's been said a thousand times that they will lighten in a few weeks but i just think they are way too thick for my face i can't look in the mirror without freaking out, i look absolutely ridiculous. i see a lot of people here saying they hate it at first but they never come back after the healing to update! so, i'm going to try update every step of the way.

For what it's worth I think they look great on you.

thank you! i'm mainly doing this to force myself to post updates that show every step of the healing process

They aren't too thick. They fit your face. It takes about two weeks to get used to a major change. Remember what you are used to seeing so this will be a shock for you. Considering your hair and skin color I don't even think they're too dark.

They will look dark and weird for a few days, but they will turn out great. Looking forward to your update.

I think they look really well done and look good with your face. You can't judge them for at least 10 days - 3weeks. Looking forward to your update.

I've had my eyebrows tattooed about 5 times....believe me, they will fade!! AND the ends of the strokes will fade more, which reduces the size of the entire outline of the brow, if that makes sense. A good practitioner will make them look too dark and too big at first - but you HAVE to believe that if you left looking like you wanted to on Day One, it would NOT be good in the long run. A "weird" look right after they're done means they'll be much BETTER when they're all done healing! And the touch-up is a very important part of the process, because you have to expect some of the color "falls out" and everyone's face "falls out" differently. The touch up is when the artist is able to really assess and deliver the best final result. DON'T WORRY!!!!!! :)
