Lifestyle Brought Back my Self Confidence

After going through Chemotherapy in my early 40's I started having bags under my eyes. After seeing an ad for Lifestyle Lift, I scheduled an apt. I chose Lifestyle because of the fact I wouldn't be put to sleep. During the consultation they suggested doing both the eyes and the face lift. I had already made up my mind that I only wanted my eyes done, these were my best feature on my face and I wanted them to look good again. The doctor told me right off that the bags were deep and he wasn't sure he could get down that far, but was sure he could make an improvement (which he showed me in the office). He said the eye lids would be pretty much standard. So I made an informed decision to make the next appointment. The day of surgery I was nervous as all get out...worrying about the pain and so on. As soon as I walked into the office the staff was wonderful and did everything to make me comfortable and was quick to get me started. I can't say enough about the staff!!!! They were above wonderful. When the procedure started I felt no pain from the shots, to my suprise. The most I felt was a little pressure when they were getting the fat out to remove the bags. My nurse talked me through it and once she told me that what I was feeling was normal, I breathed through it and was fine. Yes it does seem like it takes longer to heal than what I thought it would, but when you stop and think about it it has only been 5 weeks and I look and feel great. My confidence is back..I smile more. I still have some healing to do and a little puffiness under my eyes. Most important,my doctor was able to do more for my eyes than what he originally thought. So we are both impressed and satisfied with the results.
