Yesterday I had my follow up visit with my plastic surgeon and showed him the line/crease under my belly button. He confirmed that it was caused my wearing my compression garment and the garment causing a crease while I was sitting. He advised me to continue drinking lots of water and pineapple juice as well as continue to exercise. Also, he said to massage the line every day and by next week suggested that I get a deep tissue massage. Not much differentiation in pics.

Good Luck Finally doing it! How long have you been thinking about getting lipo? What areas of your body? Which doctor are you using? Please let me know.

Nevermind I clicked on your screen name and was able to read your post. From the pics you uploaded and the description of your issue, it sounds as if you have similiar issues to mine. - not being able to tone or lose weight despite rigorous diet and exercise. My OB GYN has done several test over the past 4 years and told me that I have a hormonal imbalance which is most likely attributed to ovarian cyst build up (PCOS) causing extra fluid retention in my abdomen. Despite stating a cause, they wanted to perform more test and such instead of treating my diagnosis.- I have insurance yet every time I get an ultrasound or other I am still out of pocket between $400-$600 and did not want to throw more money away without having them aspirate the cysts and fluid which they weren't willing to do with out more test. I am hoping that liposuction helped get some of the fluid build up from the cysts as well as the fat sucked out. I know I still have to get my ovarian cysts and hormonal imbalance treated but 4 years with medical attention, diet and exercise I was sick of my huge stomach and people accusing me of not exercising nor watching my diet. After you start healing from liposuction- 10-14 days maybe you could get your hormones checked out to see if that is what caused your stomach to protrude as well.

i had no use for my pain meds so it runs the gamut to no pain to real bad pain i guess. recovery was uncomfortable but nothing else. had mine on june 6 and i was up and around later that day. showered after two days and it was heaven. what area are you getting done?
June 18, 2016
i see what you mean because i feel like my stomach is about the same size but then it goes down a bit then the next day it seems as if it is big again. i have no creases but like i mentioned above i have the lil lump. my jeans fit better but i want a flat stomach already. i am also having trouble finding strong compression wear like they gave me out of surgery. i don;t have time to order any. i want tighter ones yesterday.

i also still have my stitches in and they itch. i have 5 holes and a stitch in each. get them out monday. why they stayed in so long, idk. gonna hurt like hell to get them out i bet.

I know. My crease has reduced a little because I have been massaging it daily but it needs to disappear completely. I am still walking 3 miles per day because I do not have confidence in trying cardio this early on-inside skin burns at times. I was told to wear Spanx instead because of the crease that my compression garment caused. Good luck with your recovery.

Day 8 Update

BalletStar
Yesterday I called my PS because I have been worried about the crease under my belly and he told me to stop wearing my compression garment. (From day 1 I have been drinking fluids and smoothies mostly including pineapple juice to decrease swelling). Yes to stop wearing it altogether. I told him that I was following instructions and want the best results by wearing a compression garment but he said that the garment was indenting my skin and to stop wearing it before my crease worsens. So I took it off after our phone conversation and have a post op consultation in his office tomorrow. I am also concerned because my stomach seems more protruded than before and the side view looks lopsided today. I am hoping all of this gets better and my appearance takes beautiful and slim while toned shape soon. Any suggestions?

I bought a divas curve compression garment for when the 2 weeks are over after. If you're allowed... Maybe consider it. I want the best shaping possible. I go in a week. :)

Thanks I will ask my PS about it. He really wants to wait until my crease disappears to wear any other compression garment. I massage it daily but it is still here. Going for lymphatic drain massage later this week and hope that it will dissolve my skin crease.

1 week Post Op

BalletStar
It has been 1 week since I arrived at the Surgery Center scared to go through with the surgery. As I have previously stated, despite rigorous diet and exercise these past 4 years, coupled with other health issues, I have not been able to take off 40 pounds of extra weight that seemed to have appeared out of no where one night between mid 2012-2013. Feeling quite confident in Dr. Davila's capabilities to transform my body to what it once was four years earlier, (into my slim and toned abdomen and thighs, I decided to go ahead with the liposuction surgery as a last resort to feel myself again). I had a rough weekend where my body swelled more than usual and was extremely sore but today I woke up refreshed and less sore and swollen. While i still have bruising, it is diminishing and I hope to see amazing results in the near future. I am posting pics from today-Exactly 1 week after my surgery.

i will be two weeks out as of tues and i have the tale- tale lump(kinda sore, little hard lump) on my left side that is so common with lipo. i think my compressions are getting too loose. i go to bed a bit swollen and wake a lil less each more. i have no photos to post but i do see change slowly.
