2 STEPS BACK

25 days PO and I feel like I have taken 2 steps back! Ladies, listen to your body and don't ignore it. Friday I felt great, the best I have felt and then Saturday hit with a vengeance. My drain was over 100, and changed colors, I started getting a low grade fever, my tummy started to hurt bad as the day went on. Sunday, it was even tough for me to get up from a seated position, stomach felt hard and hurt to even touch..still low grade fever, drain putting out over 100. My PS seen me today, he immediately said I have bacterial infection possibly do to having the drain and how susceptible it is to bacteria. He shot antibiotic up into my drain and closed off the vacuum for 6 hours and then put the vacuum back on. He also put me on antibiotics and told me to rest for the rest of the week and to keep track of my out put on my drain and temp.
So glad I listened to what my body was telling me! It could have gotten much worse. Hopefully this will do the trick! I can't wait to get this drain out and be on my way to feeling normal.
Happy Recovery ladies!!!

I have been wanting a TT for many years! I inherited "The Belly" from my dad's side of the family. Even when I was a size 6 ( which was years ago ) it never went away. My procedure was on 1-14-16, I had TT and flank lipo. Day 1 was a fog, but everything went well with my procedure. I had my recliner and tons of pillows ready for when I got home. List of things I bought prior to my surgery, meds, compression hose, miralax, crackers, ginger ale, dry shampoo, loose workout pants, cough drops, to sooth your throat after anesthesia. Advice...Make sure that you have support from family or friends, you will need it! My first PO appt went well. All looked good, on my 7th day PO, I had my 1st drain removed! I am now 19 days PO and still have the other drain in. I can't wait to get it out, hopefully this week. I am tired still and the more I do the more swollen I get. So take it easy.
