I go in tomorrow morning for my surgery. Is there anything I need to know before I go in? A tidbit of history on me... I am 30 and have two children. 1st was 8lbs 9oz and 2nd was 9lbs 7oz. I had my son natural but my daughter had to be c-sectioned. I was told that the pain is WAY worse with the C-section, is that true? Another question I am on my period now too..Is this ok? The PS said it was. Also I was wondering if any of you have had your implants done through the tummy tuck? My cousin had hers done by this same doc through her belly button and had no problems at all. Please give me any info about your procedures! TY!

Hi there,
Some surgeons will perform breast augmentation through the belly button, but it's pretty rare. Here are some doctor answers on this. I have read varying things about the pain of a tummy tuck versus c-section. I think the recovery for a tummy tuck is longer. Have any ladies here had both? What do you think about the relative pain?
Good luck with your procedure!! Please keep us posted on how it goes and how you're feeling afterward.
I had a C-section for twins and then 3 years later a Full TT. (at the age of 42) The C-section was so much easier than the TT for me. No comparison.
The first couple weeks, I wondered why the heck it did it at all, really depressed. But now, 10 months out, so VERY glad I did it. I feel so much more free, and confidant. I don't worry about my big hanging belly being the first thing people notice, I don't worry being intimate with my husband. Now I worry about my wrinkles! But those, I will keep!:) Just hang in there!
