Words cannot describe the elation I felt and feel when I saw my surgical results from Dr. Kenneth Hughes. After four years of dealing with a distorted labia, my vagina looks normal again. A surgery that should have taken one and a half hours took four, because Dr. Hughes spent a great deal of time working to reorient my scar and surrounding tissue.
My thighs are free of unsightly skin and are nice and smooth. Only two days post opp, but I am super excited after all these years I can proudly wear short shorts and swim suits without feeling insecure about my legs. And my vagina looks normal again. I will post more photos in the days to come.

Hi Anavar13 Yes. I will. I'm very very sore and trying to limit movement. But I will take more and post hopefully by Christmas.

Welcome, and thanks so much for sharing your story. Congratulations! Your photos are amazing! Was the procedure very painful? Can't wait to follow your progress as you continue to recover!

Hi Sheila The pain is only apparent when I let the pain meds lapse. But I also think that's important to do, otherwise you have no sense of the trauma your body is experiencing and it keeps me focused on following doctor's orders. One morning I woke up three hours past my pain med dose and I thought, what in the hell have I done to myself. So without the drugs, this is super painful. It's much more painful than the groin only incision. Thanks for asking.

Thanks for the update! I hope the pain eases soon, although I'm sure you think it's worth the pain to have such a fantastic result!

So happy for you. How was the pain?

The pain at times is difficult. But what's been frustrating for me is the random swelling that in my mind can possibly stretch the scar and skin and you end up in the same position. This is just in my head and I hope it's not true. I'm looking forward to 14 days, my doc says the drains might come out then, I'm SLO's going to start lymphatic massages. Planning to go back to work at four weeks. I've heard that at six weeks I should feel like my old self. Merry Christmas!

Today marks one week since I had my procedure. I have posted my drain schedule and several pictures. Hoping my doc will remove these pesky things soon. The one on the left is the leaky one. I am stripping (the drains) my life away according to my docs instructions. But I always wake up wet from the left drain. It's backing up even when it's not clogged and the area around the drains seems to be having a hard time healing I guess due to the moisture. I'm just noticing the opening of the skin atop the right drain. I am working very hard to do little to no activity with the exception of getting up to urinate, walking to the kitchen and walking back to my bedroom. The swelling seems to be doing a number on the appearance of my scar and skin. The healing of the buttock crease area seems to be kind of slow and go. I don't think setters were placed back there.
For those of you who have had an inner thigh lift, Is my healing process typical in your opinion?

Thanks for any feedback or input you may have.
