I Kept my Ethnicity - my Nose is Just Polished Up and I Couldn't Be Happier! - Culver City, CA
PS- I also had a tummy tuck with hernia repair during this same procedure!
Since I had the combined procedures and thus was already under anesthesia etc, the price for my nose job was less than "normal". I joke with my friends it was like an add-on package of gum at the register.
I don't know what other woman on the planet would...
I don't know what other woman on the planet would say to the surgeon just minutes before a rhinoplasty, "I really like the look of bigger noses!" but it's true. I think faces with more prominent noses are more interesting, so I definitely didn't want to come out with a tiny baby nose. I told him I'd be mad if I had a pointy nose coming out of this!
So what did I want? A polish. I wanted my nose straightened and the tip to be less bulbous, but the goal was symmetry, not an overhaul.
I AM THRILLED!
Not to be so in love with myself, but . . . sorry, I'm kind of digging me right now. I have theee perfect German schnoz now. If I didn't tell you, you would never know I had a nose job, would you? It's perfect! You would never know he did a lot of work in there. My nose is far from pointy, but it's got a more sophisticated, symmetrical tip now and the dorsal hump is minimized.
Your nose is part of you. There's no reason to get rid of it or become a whole new person, however it shouldn't be the focus of your face either. I finally feel like my nose is the right size and shape for showing off the rest of me, while still *being* me. Oh man. Sorry to get so deep. I'm just so happy I want to cry!!
Here is a picture of me one-week post op. They say I'm still swollen and it will go down, but I'm pretty happy already!
