The day of surgery went well. I had a general anesthetic and felt no pain. Afterwards, I had a Norco prescription, but that didn't do much so after one tablet, I switched to Tylenol. Not a lot of pain but I'm glad had most of Thanksgiving week to rest and recover before going back to work as I was extremely sleepy and my upper arms were quite sensitive to the touch. For about 3-4 months afterward, they continued to be sensitive to the touch and they often felt tingly like your legs do when they have fallen asleep.
At the end of the first week I had an unusual rash on my forearm and went to my GP (Dr. Hughes office is a few hours away so too far.) My GP said it was simply a bruise from my upper arm that migrated down my arm. I included the photo below in case you see something like this. I wore a support garment that I bought on Amazon for about a month as it felt more comfortable. I also included photos of the backs of my arms to you can see the tiny scars left by the procedure. Easy to cover with makeup when I'm sleeveless.
I still have some crepiness and loose skin but it's sooo much better than before. I'm 65 and my skin does not have the same resilience as when I was 35 so was very skeptical that this procedure would do much for me, but in the end, I'm very happy I did it. I haven't had a follow up appointment as Dr. Hughes' office is a little far and frankly, I had no complications. I might book an appointment now to talk about doing something about my abs now. :-)

The procedure was Wednesday morning. Today is Friday. Today no pain but feels a little uncomfortable from swelling. The hardest part is being careful not to lift, pull or push anything over 5 pounds. My milk container weighs 7 pounds! So I need to be very careful and avoid even pushing myself up out of bed. Not sure how long I'll have this restriction. Back to the doc on Tuesday. Arms are still wrapped in bandages but will post pics when I take them off. At least from a comfort point of view, this has been better than expected. Hope the final results are as well!

I interviewed 3 doctors looking for a professional with lots of experience with this procedure. I think it's still relatively new so wanted to know they had lots of experience. I'm very happy I went with Dr. Hughes. His office does lots of Body Tite procedures and every thing else, I think. He answered my questions seriously and professionally when I met him. After the initial consult, his staff was readily available for follow up questions. The day of the procedure, I arrived stressed as LA traffic was terrible and I was late but Dr. Hughes, his nurse and anesthesiologist were terrific and I went under feeling very happy with my choice.
