Fat Transfer to Breasts - 35 y.o. Culver City, CA

I am very disappointed that 80% of the fat injected into the breasts is now gone and I am losing it every day even after 2 months after the procedure. I am worried I will lose all of it. At this point the result is so insignificant that the pain and recovery i had to go through is not worth the effort taken - could have had breast implants for about the same price and had bigger breasts. My lipo did not heal perfectly well - i have a wave on my abdomen and may need to do a revision just for the stomach to look normal. So basically in order to get the result I originally intended I will have to get the implants and re-do the lipo - OMG. I feel like starting from scratch.

Did you use brava or noogleberry? Did you diet/exercise? Did the doc "layer the fat" into the breast. Do you have a fast metabolism? So sorry for the disappointment I am 3 weeks out and worried about losing mine too as I was a very small A and loving my new breast now.

Do you have any more before and after 2 month pics from different angles. You're breast still look bigger. Did you take measurements?

You still look significantly larger than your before photos. If you don't reabsorb much more, I think your results are pretty impressive and you look really good. I'm sorry about the lipo irregularities. I hope they resolve or your surgeon can fix them at no cost.

I am sorry to say that a year ago I went through the same process I lost every bit of the fat and I also have a bump on my abdomen I have been depressed and very upset at the cost as well as the healing process. I am scheduled to have a breast lift with implants in 3 weeks I am also sad about the money that I spent

I would love to speak to you. What is the best way to connect?

I think your breasts look really good, and I hope you end up with a result you like. I agree with the other commenter; your breasts are definitely bigger and have a nice shape. As for the uneven abdomen, look into Veloshaping. After my fat transfer procedure, my doc offered that for free to smooth everything out, and I was happy with my result. See my review for my own photos. Good luck!

Perhaps you should edit your doctor's review. I have read literally hundreds of fat transfer reviews and on other sites and the long term re a ults no matter what the "technique" are dismal. There is slightly better retention with the use of the Brava system or the Noogleberry I think it's called. They are suction type devices that you wear for varying lengths of time pretty and post op and they create more of a space for the fat to reside while it tries to develop a blood supply. I have seen a few reviews where women who used it retained 30-60% but dome using it still lost nearly all. Also the Brava I know is a difficult and sometimes painful undertaking. I loved the idea of the fat transfer but so far I don't think it is worth the expense and time for the iffy results.

This is my picture 1 month post op. The volume of injected fat definitely decreased but they look better than what I had before, and I am still happy with the shape. It is full B size right now, but my C bra works as well. So I gained at least half cup size or a little more. I will post another update in another month or so.

Thank you for your comment and good luck, who is going to be your doctor? Has he done these types of procedures before?
January 16, 2015
He has done lots of these before. His name is James Chao. He is located in San Diego. He is also a hand surgeon and I need both my CMC joints worked on. He has great references. God Bless.

so how did you decide on this doctor if he doesnt talk much? hope all the fat stays in place for you .. you didnt even look bruised!!!
January 29, 2015
Hi there, He answered all of my questions, He does not elaborate to much but just to the point. But whatever questions or concerns I had he answered. He also is very responsive by email, the man does not sleep or eat it seems like. I read the reviews and really like what people said, and I liked the doctor, I did not need a lot of time to make a decision. I knew he is a top FT expert in LA, what more can I ask for? I am very pleased with the results. Are you shopping around in LA specifically?

Great results! A quick question how long would you say before the breast felt natural?

I think about 20% of fat is gone, but the breasts look more natural. They also feel softer, not as hard and the pain is gone too. I keep my fingers crossed I won't absorb the fat as I really want to keep this size.

Thanks for sharing your story, your lipo looks great, you look great! My I ask your age ? That is amazing that your doctor was able to your surgery not using very many sites. I don't think that I have read that before. I am so happy for you !

I am 35, thank you for your comment! I was surprised too, I think some people have more tissue than fat, and some have little tissue and more fat, and turned out I was the latter, I think he harvested more fat that originally planned. I am so thrilled.

Looking great, fingers crossed for you.
