Thanks to some of the wonderful ladies on this site I'm getting my ducks in a row. I have my hotel reserved, my post OP caregiver reserved, and I'll get my airline tickets this week. I'm trying not buy or take a lot of unnecessary things, since I'm coming from out of state. Can any of you ladies tell me some no kidding things that I might need to pack for this trip. Like things I don't want to be without. Thank you so much. I'm getting more and more excited.

Hello welcome to team Hughes. I'm barely 2 days post up but I can already tell you that you don't need a whole lot. Dr. Hughes gives you a lot of chux pads, foam, binder and a faja/girdle. I do highly suggest u get some vitamins, arnica & bromelain. I got the vitamedica kit for $92 on Amazon. You definitely need something to pee, u can get a urinal but I found a 16 oz styrofoam cup most effective. I'll come back next week to tell u what else I absolutely needed. Congratulations on this big step!

Hi, I'm excited for you!! I am planning on going to see him for a consultation soon. I sent him pictures of my poor body and was told he would be able to give me at least 1,000 cc's per cheek, but I would like more ;-) Did he tell you how many cc's he would inject in per cheek? Where will you be getting lipo from?

i too and planning to go with Dr. Hughes! Ive been researching for a while and loving his talent, credentials and his attention to details. Im hoping to secure a spot March/April 2015. Unsure of whether or not to get the TT but BBL is a MUST. Where are you ladies staying? In the past I've stayed at Crowne Plaza Redondo and Hermosa beach but feeling it may be too far. Plan to book something in Venice beach- details PLEASE! Traveling from the east coast- going, going, back back to Cali Cali! Returning with something NEW! **wink**

I've been lurking here for a while and finally got up the nerve to post. My date is set for January 3!! Can any of the out of town ladies that went to Dr. Hughes recommend a hotel/motel to stay at for 8-10 days? Also, has anyone went alone and have the info for the recovery nurse that was used? Any tips or advice that you ladies can provide is appreciated! Thank you.

You should message 50 going on 35 and SwanDive, they both had surgery this month, they're out of town patients (both stayed at a local hotel and hired nursing services). Good luck!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I notice that you are traveling to LA for your procedures. I just found Dr Hughes and I sent him pictures and he said he could do my BBL/TT/BA. I LOVE his work!!! I would love to know if you flew to LA for a consultation or was everything via email? Also, were you nervous to book with him because you were out of state? How did you make payment? I want him to do my surgery but am nervous because I am not in LA. Thank you!
No, just a email. I've been wanting this surgery for a while and I researched, researched and researched. I went with Dr Hughes, because he sculpts for the individual he doesn't do the cookie cutter big butt tiny waist. His work looks very natural to me and fits whatever patient he works on. That's important for me, I want this to fit me, I don't even have a wish pic.....LOL. I just paid my down payment so far with my debit card, but I'm paying the balance the same way no financing. I plan to stay at least 10 days in LA. Good luck!
Exactly, that is why I want to use him. His results actually look natural not cartoonish. I can't wait to hear about your results. Have you figured out where you will be staying? He told me to plan to be in LA for 10 days also.
