BBL and Scar Revision with the Amazing Dr. Hughes. Culver City, CA

I am currently 12 days post op and can't really express in text how happy I am with my results. Wished I had started reviewing prior to my surgery along with pre-op photos (which I am trying to archive so I can post them here).
I am very petite, 4'11" 100 lbs. not a whole lot of fat to work with and I wanted to steer clear of implants and stick with The BBL, especially since it will help with contouring as well which I needed, as the fat that I did have were in the wrong places. One week prior to my surgery, I thought I might as well have scar revision too, because I've had some very ugly scars under my breasts from a sloppy suture job done by another surgeon 5 years ago. I also had a C section scar that was red and raised in different areas.

From the initial consultation, to the surgery and through my 12 days so far of recovery, it's amazing how much time Dr. Hughes devotes to his patients. I have probably sent him a hundred emails and he responds within just hours, and in some cases, a few minutes. Sometimes I wonder if he eats or sleeps.

I would like to just summarize how my surgery and recovery went this far, and am posting some photos of what I am looking like today. As you can all see, I still have a great deal of healing to do and the swelling is sort of masking the great contours that are yet to come.

Day of surgery- I was scared as hell but excited at the same time because I knew that from that day on, I will no longer have a flat ass. And when I say flat ass, I mean my butt cheeks almost blended into my hamstrings and they just lacked volume and roundness to them. Dr. Lebowitz was my anesthesiologist and he was just so sweet an comforting. Dr. Hughes also talked to me one last time and answered any questions or concerns I had prior to me heading to the OR. Once there, one of the nurses applied the iodine to my whole body, it was very cold and shortly after, I was laid down on the table and it was lights out. When I woke up, the pain was tolerable actually. It's the next day that was unbearable but I'll get to that in a minute. Dr. Hughes came in to check on me and he said he was able to transfer 660cc into each cheek! That was more than we expected so I was really happy about that. The areas that were liposuctioned were my abdomen, back, flanks, medial and lateral thighs and arms.

So the next day was rough. Don't remember too much of it but I do know that I don't mind having that dreaded day erased from my memory as I was in excruciating pain, couldn't move, couldn't sleep, my face was so swollen that my eyes were swollen shut, arms and hands were so huge like balloons that couldn't even close my hands to pick anything up, and the excision of the scars from my breasts and c section were still quite sore so laying on my stomach was no fun. From that day on, things got better and better.

I must say that overall, I am extremely satisfied with the new body Dr. Hughes gave me. My waist is so tiny, arms and thighs are a little smaller too- I carried a good amount of fat on the back of my arms and they are a little smaller already. Thighs, still swollen as you can see in the photos, I still have a lot of bruising so they will continue to get smaller. And the scars looks so much better, I can't believe how much they've already improved! I have not included those photos because scars will take about a year before they even soften so I may post those when some of the redness subsides. My butt looks great, still swollen and I wish it would stay this size, but unfortunately I'm aware it will get smaller and it already is because some of the swelling is already going down. Regardless, I know the size and shape will be a substantial improvement to its predecessor. Will update again in a couple weeks with new photos. Can't wait to see what I will look like in 6 months!
