30 Years Old with 2 Boys and a New Body:) - Culver City, CA

I had been thinking about doing this procedure for about 4 years now, I knew I wanted lipo for sure but honestly didn't really think about doing a BBL just because I thought I was ok "back there" but after looking thru so many instagram post and reviews on patients before and afters I thought maybe I could use a little pick me up!
I actually saw about 3 doctors before having my consultation with Dr. Hughes… first of all I heard about Dr. Hughes thru here on Real Self he honestly is the best at what he does, the day of my consultation it was very brief he saw me and like he knew exactly what I wanted done on my stomach, I have some unevenness on my stomach so he let me know right away that the only way to fix that was with a tummy tuck but that was not really my main concern I kind of already knew that so I agreed with Dr. Hughes it took about 15 min and he was out, I felt no need to ask any questions based on what I had read here and plus I felt secure and very excited. So the day comes I wasn't really nervous to be quite honest I was more excited then anything else, they finally call me in and I am pumped ready to go once in the room the anasthesiologist comes in and lets me know whats to expect and how i was not going to feel any pain and that he would be monitoring me the whole time making sure I was ok, and that he would give me some medicine to relax me first and to take away the shivers since it was really cold and that I would be safe:) its such a relief to here those words honestly!!! So Dr. Hughes comes in one last time before I go in to surgery just to talk to over what he was going to do and again he took the words out of my mouth he knew exactly where I wanted lipo and where I wanted the fat back in lol… I was getting lipo on my top and bottom abdomen lipo on the flanks lipo on my upper back and lower back and fat transfer on my hips (since my hips had like weird looking dents in them) and a BBL.
Once in the operating room… again I was more excited then nervous but taking off all your clothes to be sanitized was not the most comfortable thing but I was ready to go… As soon as laid down the anesthesiologist goes and works up his magic and I was gone within seconds. I woke up to the sound of the nurses voices and the last thing i remember was arriving at the hotel…
I was a little sore really I have to be honest I did not feel pain just lots of soreness like I had done 10,000 squats and about 10,000 lunges no pain in my stomach or flanks. I got to my hotel around 8 around 10 I woke up I needed to pee so bad my husband helped me I actually got a plastic clean cup and went in there! Laying down was hard since my my butt was so sore… I had to go pee about 8x that night and it was hard sleeping with the binder and on my stomach. The next morning was fine I got up with the help of my husband and we went home. I wasn't in any pain at all even now 4 days later I can say I have been thru worse and that was nothing!!!
I have some bruising on my sides and my butt area thats normal but so far I am so happy and its not even the final results I can imagine what the final results will look like!!! I will do a review again within a month and see how it goes from here.
