Size F. Although I wanted a D. No lift was performed. Implant is palpable and placed incorrectly. Scars are terrible. No scar treatment done because I was told I was getting a revision.

Thanks for sharing your experience. And very sorry your experience has not been good. Unfortunately this particular surgery has a very high revision rate from what I’ve observed and experienced. I also had a BL/PA and needed revisions to no fault of my PS. The opposing forces of a breast lift combined with implants can create complications; or the tissue on one side may differ from the other side causing assymetry. And of course the PS’s skill is a big factor. In any case for all the above reasons I think it’s important to thoroughly research the PS’s qualifications including what their revision policy is prior to surgery. I see you also posted some questions in the Doctor’s Q&A during your early postop period. I’ve observed their usual response if you post questions early on is to “give it more time to resolve”. Now that you are a couple years postop have you thought about posting more pics/questions in the Doctor’s Q&A to see what solutions they may have to offer? I hope you find a way to resolve your issues. Good luck and please keep us posted.

I have had several outside opinions. Which all point to the surgeon performing below the standard of care. One implant under the muscle and one on top of the muscle has everything to do with the surgeons skill. This surgeon has been investigated by the board recently and from what I read of the court documents had his license suspended for a while after my surgery for doing the same thing and operating on people that didn’t qualify for surgery. I was told that I would have a revision the doc even messaged me on here saying he no longer worked at the place I had my surgery because they wouldn’t allow him to see his patients post op and asked me to call him. I did we set up a meeting and on both days I saw him at his new location and the surgery center owner at Boris cosmetics they both said I had to speak to the other. I was offered free revision but once I attempted to act in it I was no longer able to be seen or talked to. In my opinion both surgeons are in the wrong and it sucks that I’m still paying for the surgery and I need a revision that will cost me at least $20k.

Wow 20k is a pretty high! Although I have seen quotes that high from NYC and California. I’m not saying this is the case but sometimes PS give really high quotes as a way of discouraging someone they may not want to take on. There are also a number of PS that don’t like to work with other PS’s botched patients... for lack of confidence in their own skills and/or fear of the patient may also write a bad review on them.

Not to mention revision surgery can also be quite complicated. In any case you really want to find a PS that specializes in breast lift revision. If you’re still looking for a PS I recommend my own (Steven Vath, MD). He’s a 5 star Bd-certified PS and is considered to be the one of the best in this country for breast lift and revision surgery.

I flew 1800 miles from Fl to have surgery with him (in Denver CO). He’s one of only two PS in this country I would consider having BL surgery with. He’s also based in Colorado where airfare and hotels are reasonably priced. Lastly you may find his price quite reasonable. The very least you should get a free online consultation with him. Good luck.

The surgeon I was looking into specialized in revision. I’m a little weary about flying that far for my boobs just in case something goes wrong again. It’s not like it’s a drive away. But I will look into it. Thank you so much I will look into it.

Yes I was also a bit weary about traveling. I’d had two B/A’s in the past and they were both done locally. However knowing how complicated BL/BA surgery is I decided it would be less of a risk to travel for a great PS that is well known for doing BL surgery than settling for what was available locally. What convince me was convinced me was seeing many of his great reviews here and the fact that his BL patients have scars that are barely visible. Imo I think it takes more than having board certifications and specialties under the belt perform BL/BA surgery well. The PS also has to have an aesthetic sense of what makes an attractive breast and the artistic skill to pull it off. I happened to like what I saw in my PS’s portfolio more so than what I saw in my local PS’s portfolios. If you check out my PS’s out of town patient page you’ll see they have a seamless plan for people that decide to travel for his services. Traveling was a lot easier than I expected. Feel free to check out my BL/BA review or PM me if you want more details. :-)

Hi Hun. Just read your journey. Im very sorry you've had such a rough experience. I agree with just about everything Mdlg5 has said to you (The other person who left comments.) I also want to add, that you are very young. You deserve to be happy. You should not have to experience pain, or emotional discomfort like you have. I hope that you will be able to have a revision with another surgeon at some point. Thank You for sharing your experience, as this does help other people. Good luck. I hope you will stay in touch with us, and let us know how you are doing.

DrDRISCOLL BOTCHED ME

Dr Driscoll is avoiding me and won’t answer my calls after he said he would fix the mistake. 2 years later I’m still paying for his mistake and in pain daily. He’s blocked me off if Instagram and is no where to be found.

I'm just trying to figure out wtf I payed so much money for?
The bottom picture was PERFECT I loved my boobs how they sat up and were full
The top picture is whenthey started to sag again. Now they're worse than that.

I feel what I think would be a stitch under the skin in my left boob. Was he in a rush when he did my surgery? Was he still sleep?
