I'm doing this review before my BBL with Dr...
I had a consult with one doctor in West Hollywood and he told me I needed to gain 10-15 pounds for the procedure. I didn't want to gain weight and I went for a consult with Dr Hughes and decided to go with him. He does thousands of surgeries a year and went to Harvard. You can tell he is extremely confident and a genius and loves what he does. The thing I like best is that he is easily reachable by email. I have never met a doctor who would give out their personal email before.
Another reason Dr Hughes is great because he only is going to be making three small incisions in me vs the other doctors who would make at least five. He also doesn't use drains.
People keep trying to write on here that Dr Hughes isn't injecting "pure fat" but that is total nonsense in my educated opinion. Dr Hughes actually made a youtube video he will be posting of him doing some BBLs because he heard someone saying that he isn't injecting pure fat, which is technically illegal to even say such things. I think that he is just good at what he does so people try and say anything. What else would he be injecting if it's not pure fat? If that was really the case he would have a mob of angry women on here but all his patients are happy. I have yet to see a negative review of him. He always meets with me when I ask and patiently answers my questions and I ask many many questions so that is also rare to find in a doctor.
I have started to prepare for my BBL by buying a few things: a boppy pillow to sit after, a rolled up yoga mat for the same thing, this little bench from amazon that is like a soft stool that you can sit on and your butt hangs off (I can post link if needed), the Vita Medica Recovery vitamins, arnica montana pills, arnicare cream, a body pillow, some chux in case my incisions leak to put on my bed, some antibacterial Dial soap, and some protein shakes and gatorade for the first few days after surgery. I may also buy these foam pads to cut out and sit in. I also bought a massage head piece to attach to my bed so I can rest my head on it. I heard a massage chair is good too to have.
Also I found a great faja store near USC called "New Body Couture" where I will be buying my Ann Chery compression garments two weeks after surgery when I am done with the abdominal binder I have to wear. I tried on quite a few brands at the store like fajate and found the ann chery "isabella" one to be the softest and nicest. It's also cheaper in the store than online!

There are many reasons I chose Dr hughes for my bbl! One of the main ones is because he is an expert at bbl he does hundreds every year so I knew I was in good hands. He's also a genius and went to Harvard and graduated at the top of his class, which speaks for itself. He cares a lot about what he does and his patients. I have never met a doctor who I could reach by email so easily. He always responds in a timely manner and that makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed. He did a great job on my surgery and helped put me at ease because I was so nervous! Olga his nurse is AMAZING. She is so nice and helpful! I trust Dr Hughes because he always answers any questions I have. He is the best at making women look good. The anesthesiologist Dr Lebowitz is excellent as well. Also unlike other doctors Dr Hughes didn't make me gain weight.
