5 weeks post op
I went in for my 4/5th week appointment, everything looks good, the girls have dropped a lot although the right side still sits a bit higher than the left. I really have no complains, the numbness is also better (not completely gone yet). I have been cleared for all activities and any type of bra.
I just came back from Nigeria a few days ago and thankfully there was no issue with travel at all, no issues while i was there either.
Overall i'm happy with the progress, i will attach pictures tomorrow. I must confess though i'm getting post op boob greed, now that i see them i want them bigger. Maybe in the future, this i'm very happy with for now. I will be going into VS for fitting and buying a bra, yayyyyyyy i'm so excited to get my new size

2 weeks post op/international travel
I haven't updated in a while because the changes are very slow. I am over 2 weeks post op and the pictures are attached. The drop/fluff is very slow (maybe I'm just too anxious).
I have started massaging since 1 week post op and I try to do it 3times daily, I also wear the band as much as possible and I'm in a sports bra. I was told not to wear anything with wire for about 3 weeks but I think I will wait till week 4.
I also travelled to Nigeria which was about 14hr flight (after I got the ok from by PS) at week 2, there was no problems. I think travelling is fine 2 weeks post op as long as there is no complications and you are cleared by your PS. I didn't have to take any medicine, I just walked around the plane every couple hours I was awake.
About the implant, I have mild pain every now and then, especially around the scar.
my nipples have increased sensitivity, I also noticed when I eat certain food I get some tingling around the nipples. The sensitivity sometimes get so bad I don't want to wear anything, it hurts at the slightest touch. However this is not everyday, it goes on and off.
When I massage my breasts I also feel pain on the bottom where the incision is from the implants been pressed down and irritating the area, I'm not sure if that's normal. What I do is put one hand on the bottom and massage with the other so as to relieve pressure and that works.
So far my left breast has dropped a lot more than the right, left looks more natural and bigger. I'm getting worried the right is not dropping at all, I have an appointment in about 2 weeks which will be 5 weeks post op, so I will check if that's OK, I also took the steri straps off.
So far I'm very happy with the way it looks in clothes, I get compliments on them and I look younger around that area???? Definitely worth it.
Can't wait to be dropped and fluffed!!!!

post op day 2 - 6
I was not able to update my progress daily for 2 reasons
1. I was in a lot of pain and taking percocet just made me sleep a lot
2. I figured i should do weekly updates as not much changes daily
post op day 2-3: I was in a lot of pain, both around my chest and back pain too, my chest felt like two rocks were placed on me. I wasn't able to sleep as i am a side sleeper and there is no way you are resting on the side for the first few days. So sleeping was a nightmare. I was pooping pain pills round the clock, i alternate percocet with tylenol extra strength, which helped a lot, especially at night. It was hard going to the bathroom, well mostly moving your arms to take underwear off.
All i did was sleep - eat- meds - sleep.
Post op day 4- 6: Things are a lot better, i still have some pain/sore spots but nothing compared to the first 48 hours, I am wearing the band that was given to me over my sports bra. The band is very uncomfortable around the armpit and I'm not sure the band helps much but i am still wearing it as ordered.
I went for my second follow up today, every thing looks good aside the fact that implants are still riding very high and hard. Apparently i was very tight even in the OR so i might be riding high for about a month, i really hope not. I am ready to start looking normal. I was given instructions on massaging the breast/implants 2-3 times daily for about 3 minutes, to get them soft and moving in the breast pocket.
Also the steri strips will come off next week and i was told to start applying scar cream to reduce the appearance of scars, the creams are not cheap each small tube goes for $65, i will look online and walmart if i could get something cheaper before next week, will keep everyone updated on that.
It is a waiting game now i guess.

My initial interaction with Dr Greenburg was pleasant, I did not feel rushed the first time and he answered all my questions. My pre op visit and post op was a bit different, he was in a hurry and i didn't feel like there was enough time spent with my questions, although i had tons of questions also. The practice is busy, they are not so great with communication, you have to call to figure out what is going on.
