So i was not going to write a review as i figure there are more than enough of them on this site, however as i sit here this morning waiting for my procedure time; by the way i am getting breast augmentation done to day at about 3pm, i thought i should just start blogging my experience.
I have always wanted bigger breasts, i know everyone says that. I had my son and rather than my girls getting bigger they got smaller, so i decided to go for it.
My procedure day is today and i am nervous as hell. I went to about 7 consultations before deciding to go with Dr Greenburg, primarily for two reasons first i wanted to use sientra gummy bear and secondly i wanted the procedure done before summer. Only 2 of the 7 offered the sientra, others try to talk you out of getting it.
My consultation with him was ok there is a fairly long wait secondary to his busy practice (I wish he offered something to drink) but all the staff member were nice and friendly, as soon as you get called in the process was faster. Another thing about this practice is that they talk you into making a deposit which can be cancelled within two weeks but i just felt a little pressured into doing it. There was no problem with that as i am proceeding with them anyway but i just didn't like that feeling of being pressured right then and there after the consultation.
After the consultation i picked a date for the procedure however they said the time will be decided the days before, I was called yesterday and told it will be at 3pm but to call for definite confirmation.
I called at 1pm and was told it has been pushed back to maybe 4:30pm. I am really upset about this and hungry, i wish they were more organised and communicate better.
I will add before photos later, maybe tomorrow we will see how i feel.
Wish me luck!!!

I ended up having my surgery at about 6pm yesterday, they kept pushing it back which was annoying since I was anxious and hungry. But as soon as they got the ball rolling it was great. I got sientra 415 HP smooth. I had my first follow up visit today, I was at the office for about 2 hours because he had cases. Well everything looks good, breasts are high/hard. my left breast looks lower and fuller than the right, I was told that's normal. I was given a band to wear 24 hrs everyday for about 4 weeks, instructed to let the girls air out today and to put on my sports bra starting tomorrow. My pain is not as bad as I thought it would be, although I have been taken percocet 1tab every 4 hrs, I'm also on a muscle relaxant every 8 hrs, both make me drowsy. The worst for me is sleeping, I feel more pressure laying down and even worse being on my side, however I'm a side sleeper, I have about 5 pillows on my bed which helps a bit.

Congratulations on your surgery! Sorry you had to wait a bit before your scheduled time. it sounds like everything went well. Now you just need some sleep which hopefully will happen soon. Feel free to join the April 2016 breast augmentation surgery forum for some additional post op support. Keep us posted as you continue to heal!

Glad you made it through to the other side! I'm scheduled for June 7 - haven't started my review yet either. I'm going with Sientra Textured Round Low Profile. I'm trying to read up as much as I can on the Sientras! Also, did you leave post-op with a surgery bra or without? Finally do you mind sharing your BWD and how the 415 ccs are working out for you size-wise? Thank you so much for sharing your review and I hope you're healing very well!

Hi, I had sientra HP smooth, If you have any questions or concerns on sientra let me know, i will try to help as much as i can. I think i read all there was to read out there. The office staff and sientra rep made fun of me as being a spokes person, lol.
I will add the pictures (my before and after so far) tomorrow. I did not leave post op with surgical bra, i was bandaged up. I was told to start wearing it post op day 2, after they took all the dressings off.
I am healing well, the first 48hrs are horrible i must say. I was popping pills round the clock. Good luck June 7th, by then i will have better pictures as to how sientra looked.

post op day 2 - 6

I was not able to update my progress daily for 2 reasons
1. I was in a lot of pain and taking percocet just made me sleep a lot
2. I figured i should do weekly updates as not much changes daily
post op day 2-3: I was in a lot of pain, both around my chest and back pain too, my chest felt like two rocks were placed on me. I wasn't able to sleep as i am a side sleeper and there is no way you are resting on the side for the first few days. So sleeping was a nightmare. I was pooping pain pills round the clock, i alternate percocet with tylenol extra strength, which helped a lot, especially at night. It was hard going to the bathroom, well mostly moving your arms to take underwear off.
All i did was sleep - eat- meds - sleep.
Post op day 4- 6: Things are a lot better, i still have some pain/sore spots but nothing compared to the first 48 hours, I am wearing the band that was given to me over my sports bra. The band is very uncomfortable around the armpit and I'm not sure the band helps much but i am still wearing it as ordered.
I went for my second follow up today, every thing looks good aside the fact that implants are still riding very high and hard. Apparently i was very tight even in the OR so i might be riding high for about a month, i really hope not. I am ready to start looking normal. I was given instructions on massaging the breast/implants 2-3 times daily for about 3 minutes, to get them soft and moving in the breast pocket.
Also the steri strips will come off next week and i was told to start applying scar cream to reduce the appearance of scars, the creams are not cheap each small tube goes for $65, i will look online and walmart if i could get something cheaper before next week, will keep everyone updated on that.
It is a waiting game now i guess.
